AMD 890GX Motherboard Roundup
iXBT Labs published an AMD 890GX Motherboard Roundup

The collective image of an AMD 890GX-based motherboard is quite attractive. It's a mid-end feature-rich full-size ATX model with two graphics slots, SATA 6Gbps support and an optional but nevertheless provided USB 3.0 controller. Besides, MSI demonstrated that the same functionality could be compacted into the mATX form factor as well.

Today we are looking at yet another pocket HD Camcorder / Camera. This one is from JVC and records in full 1080p HD, has 4x digital zoom, is very stylish and even takes 8-megapixel still images. Lets take a look and find out!

Desktop PC Platform - Statistical Obituary
Benchmark Reviews posted an editorial on the Desktop PC Platform

This is the third piece in an ongoing editorial series, in which the introductory article identified several threats which could potentially put an end the desktop PC platform. To summarize that piece, desktop computers are at risk of extinction by a wide range of predators: notebooks, netbooks, Smartphones, PDA devices, and gaming consoles. For this article, worldwide sales statistics make a strong argument against the longevity of desktop computers into the future. Will gaming consoles, notebook computers, and Smartphone devices replace the desktop PC anytime soon? Perhaps the obituary has already been written and we're all just ignoring the bad news.

Norco RPC-4020 4U Review
OCC has published a review on the Norco RPC-4020 4U

As good as the chassis is, there are several things that pulled it back from being top dog. First for the size and weight of the case, let alone the price, a set of rails should be included. The case is too heavy to keep removing from a rack when needing to perform maintenance or upgrades. Getting it into the rack in the first place takes at least two people and the rack ears seem to hold it, but for how long?

NZXT Sentry LXE Review
Neoseeker posted a review on the NZXT Sentry LXE

The NZXT Sentry LXE brings case fan control and tempurature monitoring right onto your (actual) desktop through an external LCD unit with all the handy controls at your fingertips. Plus it doubles as a clock and calendar. Is it as convenient as it sounds? We investigate in our latest review!

The NZXT Sentry LXE takes the internal design of a standard fan controller and removes it from the optical drive bay, placing it directly on a users desk. This puts the fan controller within arms length, which should improve the ability to quickly access the control panel and adjust the fan and temperature settings on the fly. Additionally, the LXE uses a sleek brushed aluminum design with a large 5.27 LCD touch-screen, so if the controller is as functional as it is stylish we may well have a good product on our hands.

Samsung Eternity II SGH-a597 Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the Samsung Eternity II SGH-a597 phone

Today Ive got another Samsung phone review for you, this time its the Eternity II that was just released for AT&T. Its a multi-media and social centric phone with a 3 touch screen. The Eternity II features a full HTML browser, access to FloTV mobile TV, YouTube, music, movies and games and quick access to your favorite social networks so you can keep in touch with a tap on the screen. It has a 2mp camera, but sadly its missing a flash and theres no wi-fi either. On the outside the Eternity II seems much more than a basic phone but it still is at heart really, the interface is easy to use and its customizable with widgets panels similar to Android.
