AMD has always been trying to break into this market, as it´s one of the most profitable areas of the computer market today. The lack of multiprocessor chipsets and the lack of good solid single processor chipsets have kept IT managers shying away from AMD at all costs. Today at GamePC, we´re taking a real world look at AMD´s new multiprocessor platform. Unlike many of the other reviews on the net, our Athlon MP systems were not supplied by AMD. Like everything else here, we used what was on-hand here in the GamePC lab and started testing.
