GyroTweak has posted their tribute to 3DFX
3DFX was possibly the greatest 3D chipset manufacture in history, making a walkway for companies such as nVidia, and ATi to build their technologies upon. We can still remember the days of the Voodoo I. This card was quite possibly the largest jump for the 3D graphics industry in years. The Voodoo I swept away the competition, and held a better price tag than today's top end GeForce4.
