Tweakers Asylum has posted a review on the AOpen 1640 Pro DVD Optical Drive.
I have to be honest before I start this review. I never really saw the attraction of having DVD on a computer, so I never really planned on "upgrading" to DVD. The kind folks at AOpen sent us the AOpen 1640 Pro for review so I went ahead and installed it. I have been playing with the drive for about a week now and although being able to watch a movie or two on my PC was "cool" at first I just donīt see myself making a habit out of it. With that out of the way let me give you what AOpen has to say about the drive.
