VR-Zone has tested the new AOpen AK89 Max board based on the NVIDIA nForce3 150 chipset.
AK89 Max comes in a cool white box with nice bundle and accessories and sports a classic glossy black PCB. The board features support for DDR400 up to 3GB, Firewire, 6 Channel Audio with S/PDIF, 4 x Serial ATA 150 ports with RAID, Gigabit LAN and 6 USB 2.0 ports. AOpen RD Team also develop some useful and unique features such as Open Jukebox Player, Dr. Voice II, Ez Restore, Ez WinFlash, Ez Clock, SilenTek, Vivid BIOS, Win BIOS, Die Hard BIOS II and a Self Powered PCI slot.
