Intel's P4 processor has recently gone under the knife, and came out in a new form factor, Socket 478, replacing the previous Socket 423. Along with this change, are some new developments in the P4 chipset market. Intel, after a LOOOOOOONG time, has released a traditional SDRAM memory platform for Socket 478, the Intel i845 chipset.
