ASrock K8SLI-eSATA2 supports the Socket 754 CPU. On top of that, this board supports the Future_CPU_port, allowing users to upgrade to Socket 939 or Socket AM2 through an upgrade card. The board also support a single by 16 pcie or Dual PCIe x8 SLI support. Similar to the eSATA2 family of boards, it supports the eSATA2 connectors allowing one to connect external SATA enclosure without compromising the speed. The mainboard comes with 4 ports of Serial ATA II 3.0Gb/s, RAID 0, 1, 0+1, JBOD and RAID 5, and "Hot Plug" functions, and 2 ATA 133 IDE ports, 2 ports of eSATAII 3.0Gb/s (shared with 2 SATAII ports), support "Hot Plug" function. 5.1 Channel with High Definition Audio, Fast Ethernetis supported. The board is also Windows Vista Hardware Ready ROHS compliant.
