Just to tell that I and many other people are experiencing serious problems with the new 1006 Bios for the Asus A7V.Download
In my case the computer would hang on bios post not letting me enter setup or booting from any device. A hardware cmos-reset was necessary and the problem reappears if I set the ram to 133
MHz (having a 133 MHz DIMM).
Other people experience Bsod´s in Win2k, WinME not booting at all etc.
I personally recommend staying with 1005d.
