Hardware Mania has posted a review of Asus AX800Pro with ATI AX800 chipset.
The rumour has it that the ATI X800Pro and X800 XT are the same GPUs and it is possible to enable the 4 pixel shader pipelines locked in X800Pro. There are bridges on the X800Pro GPU just like AMD AthlonXP series processors. It is claimed that the upper-left bridges could be connected to have an X800Pro X800 XT, meaning the number of 12 pixel shader pipelines can be increased to 16. These bridges, though truly exist, there is only one person who claims to have tried and succeeded. We didn't have the opportunity to experiment due to lack of time, but it is very positive that they will be quite popular in case X800Pro can be converted to X800 XT via such trick and BIOS update. as users love these tricks. The GPU of Asus AX800Pro that we reviewed had these bridges, however the functions of these bridges will be deduced later on
