I´ve never really been into fighting games. Standing head-to-head with an opponent frantically pressing buttons until you dislocate a digit has never really been my cup-of-tea. Personally I´ve always enjoyed the first or third person action adventure type of game. The quest. The exploration. The Shoot-em-up. However I have always been aware that one day the two genres would eventually merge, and to me that has always seemed a tantalizing prospect. For the quest would bring purpose to the fight, and the fight more satisfaction to the attainment of the quest. Blade of Darkness from Codemasters® is just such a game.
