With the advent of optical mouse technology, a new breed of ultra-sensitive mice have been developed that are mainly tailored towards gamers and users requiring high precision in their daily work. While major peripheral manufactures such as Logitech and Microsoft have been actively developing and marketing these devices to computer enthusiasts for quite some time, other less well-known companies have entered this field as well.
