Voice quality of the BT400 G5 is quite good. In the many phones call that I made with the unit, there was never any background sound or interference. The unit could use more volume however as it wasn't able to get loud enough to overcome the wind noise created by me riding my bike. The unit is comfortable enough to wear all day and after awhile you forget you're wearing it (until it rings).
