I know I say hear that all the time. Cobalt 3 has designed a small unit that takes care of this problem somewhat. Their Pyramid II fan silencer takes over you exhaust fans. With a little probe in the unit itself if it senses that your case is getting too hot it will speed up your exhaust fans but if your case is running cool it will automatically slow down your exhaust fans to a level which the sound level is bearable. Unfortunately this does not work for your intake or CPU fans because you need them to be running constantly to keep your CPU and case cool at all times.
