In today's furious power supply market, it seems as though everyone from mom pop shops to major worldwide manufacturers are on the power supply train. However to have a good seat on that train, you'd better be carrying a deadly combination of high power and drop dead good looks.
Whether you buy a new power supply already sleeved or you plan to sleeve it yourself, it's almost inevitable that the power supply in your next rig will be sleeved from tip to tip. That's a lot of sleeving, but more importantly, that's a lot of voltage wires hidden to the eye. There's no way to tell if there's any damage to the wires, or if a wire has been crossed.
