It's fairly evident that USB 2.0 has given this card reader a nice boost - Crucial have finally caught up, whether this is due to their marketing department or not is a mystery but I for one am glad to see Crucial offering a fast and cheap reader complete with their well known excellent customer service. For 20 including VAT (27.99 USD) you cannot go wrong, there are one or two small design issues however if these are really going to affect you perhaps you should be looking elsewhere. The Crucial 7-in-1 reader performs surprisingly well, is light and compact and supports virtually every format available.
