Bigbruin.com posted a review on the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case

The "biggest" feature you will notice on the top of the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case is the dominating 200mm TriCool exhaust fan. Another special feature worth mentioning is the accessory holder, which Antec markets as a good place to store CDs, cell phones, or digital cameras. It is also a convenient place to hookup your digital camera through the two top-mounted USB connections.

HEXUS has posted a review on the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

AMD's native quad-core implementation, codenamed Barcelona, is currently slated for Q2 2007. In the meantime, however, AMD has added in a couple of energy-efficient processors to its line-up and bolstered the top end with the Athlon 64 X2 6000+: the first AM2 processor to run at 3GHz.

TrustedReviews have an exclusive news item about Samsung's upcoming Aura line of laptops

Samsung knows a thing or two about designing notebooks. The Q35 Red that I recently reviewed created quite a stir every time I pulled it out of my bag at CES last month, and the ultra-slim Q30 won over many users who were looking for a machine that was ultra-thin and light. But now the Samsung design team has pushed the boat out and created the new Aura series of notebooks, which look set to go head to head with Apple’s ultra-stylish MacBooks.

Madshrimps posted a Kingston PC6400CL4 and PC8500CL5 2GB Memory Kits Review

When it comes to high performance memory, Kingston has a name to keep up in the business. We already took some of the memory kits from Corsair, Team Group and OCZ for a spin, but Kingston was noticeably absent. About time we set this right, and we do this today by looking at two of their products: the PC6400CL4 and PC8500CL5, both 2Gb memory kits. Let's see how they stack up against some fierce competition.

XYZ Computing posted a Razer Barracuda AC-1 Sound Card Review

While we all have been waiting to check out Razer's sound card, they released the Barracuda HP-1 headphones first so we have had a few months to play with them first. This surround sound headset was an appreciable accomplishment for the company, but I felt like it could not really be completely judged until used with the Razer sound card. After all, while they do not have to be used together, they are a matched pair. So my hope is that by using them together we will be able to get the most out of each. It could just be a clever marketing scheme combined with a strange connector though, so we'll see.

In their product material Razer tells us that the AC-1 uses Razer's Fidelity system to bring "optimized audio signals directly from the computer game to the gamer, creating the most realistic gaming environment." The audio card also uses Razer's Enhanced Sonic Perception and 3D Positional Gaming Audio Engine for better directional sound effects than found on past equipment. Impressed yet? Well, don't worry, there is a lot more to talk about than a few trademark technologies...

Virtual-Hideout posted an Aten CS 1762 USB/DVI KVM Switch Review

For those who have a file server or second machine that isn't used as often, the Aten 1762 would work great. When used with the simpler setups, the KVM makes life a lot easier and your desk a lot less cluttered. For my uses, it still works, but has enough issues that it keeps reminding me of its flaws whenever I use it.

techPowerUp posted an OCZ ProXStream 1000W review

OCZ's ProXStream is an extremely capable power supply that offers up to 1000 Watts of output. As you would expect it comes with four PCI-E power connectors and is CrossFire/SLI ready. In our testing we come to the conclusion that this PSU will be able to power any system you could think of while still maintaining stable output voltages at all times.

techPowerUp posted a review on the EVGA e-GeForce 8800GTX KO ACS3 768MB video card

While most GeForce 8800 GTX cards are all based on the same product, with the exact same specs, EVGA has taken the 8800 GTX a step ahead. They cherry picked cards that can run high GPU and memory speeds and engineered a card that is running at higher clocks right out of the box. In our testing we see about 10% increased performance, especially at high resolutions with demanding games.

FrostyTech posted a LS Cable SHS-T700 Heatsink Review

LS Cable heatsinks are based on the same underlying heatsink design, with different mounting clips, fans and a few other small items to differentiate each "model." That framework is a simple combination of heatpipes, copper fins, and a fan.

I4U NEWS reviews the JVC I'Art LT-46FN97 46'' 1080p LCD HDTV

JVC uses several different technologies to improve image quality and improve black levels that work well. This set has some of the best black levels I have seen on an HDTV set. Dark scenes in movies are crisp and clear and you still get good detail at the transitions form dark to light colors rather than pixilated blocks.

3D Game Man posted a review on the Zalman HD160XT HTPC Case

The Zalman HD160XT HTPC Case is not your average Home Theatre Case. A large zero pixel defect 7" touch screen display sets this product apart. This screen has a 15:9 ratio & a maximum resolution of 1024x768. It also comes with a full feature remote control which is compatible with Microsoft Media Center. This case is all aluminum, looks great, air circulation is exceptional and has plenty of hard drive bays. This product is one of the very best HTPC cases on the market. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

3D Game Man posted a review on the Alienware HUB 2.1 Speakers

The Alienware HUB did not reproduce much quality sound at any of the settings. I tried my best with all styles of music, even breaking into the different Music Filters inside the Zune. Nothing really gave me a great tone. I could get a better tone out of a twenty five dollar stereo from the local grocery store. I also need to turn the volume up quite a bit to start to hear the bass. At this point of hearing the bass, it was more of a slight thump rather than a resonating bass tone.

HEXUS posted a review on the Evesham iplayer

Our initial impression of Evesham Technology's iplayer was that it looked to be one of the most exciting personal video recorders (PVRs) yet launched in the UK. Our take after seeing it in the flesh at a press demo was even more positive. But, as we were reminded once again, it's not until you go hands on that you discover all the dodgy things nobody talks about.

CoolTechZone.com posted a Samsung SCH-u740 from Verizon Wireless Review

Samsung has been making quite a splash these days with cell phone innovation. Take the BlackJack, for instance. It’s a great phone in its price range with good multimedia features. Similarly, the SCH-u740 is another solid offering for Verizon Wireless exclusively. The really neat thing about the u740 is its dual-flip design and a QWERTY keyboard. Needless to say, QWERTY keyboards aren’t for smartphones anymore. They are a must have for messaging nuts, and companies are filling the gap very well.

Howtoforge published the first part of their The Perfect Desktop - Fedora Core 6 series

With the release of Microsoft's new Windows operating system (Vista), more and more people are looking for alternatives to Windows for various reasons. This tutorial is the first of a series of articles where I will show people who are willing to switch to Linux how they can set up a Linux desktop (Fedora Core 6 in this article) that fully replaces their Windows desktop, i.e. that has all software that people need to do the things they do on their Windows desktops. The advantages are clear: you get a secure system without DRM restrictions, and the best thing is: all software comes free of charge.

Bios Magazine posted a review on the Palo Alto Software Business Plan Pro 2007

Business Plan Pro 2007 is an ideal software suite for experienced entrepreneurs or individuals who have dreamed about starting a completely new venture. And as you can't move your business forward without a roadmap for success, investing in a company that specialises in business planning seams a sensible move. A word of warning, though. If you're expecting to simply press a couple of buttons and see a finished business plan roll off the printer, then think again - creating a good business plan takes a lot of time of thought. You should also consider whether you need the Premier version (129.99 ex. VAT), allowing you to import data from Excel, create Plan Templates and produce Powerpoint presentations to convey your ideas.
