ADATA 2GB Mickey Mouse USB Drive Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the ADATA 2GB Mickey Mouse USB Drive

The Adata Disney Series 2GB USB Drive is a cool idea and will naturally end up being a popular gift if you want to send or take something home reminding you of Disney. It's a cool idea that'll appeal to everyone's better nature without the theme park price tag. This should please a lot of people. And the novelty of it should resonate among the younger people. My daughter saw the pictures from CES and thought it was the coolest thing for kids who want to take music over their friends house, or for school projects. She knew exactly what it would probably best be suited. So, you can imagine the excitement level while taking pictures. I'd like to have played with it a little longer, but apparently, it's not my turn anymore.

World Exclusive: Lian Li PC-A17 Midtower Chassis Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Lian Li PC-A17 Midtower Chassis.

Lian Li is a name synonymous with quality in the case market. Almost every year, they release new chassis, all improvements upon the last in their line. Naturally, when LanCool PC (a subsidiary of Lian Li) said that they wanted to send over a Lian Li case, I was pretty excited to check it out. Today's review sample, the PC-A17, may have a familiar sounding name: it's the next generation PC-A16 case, and they're about as similar as their names are.

ASUS P5K64 WS Intel P35 DDR3 Motherboard Review
ThinkComputers.org posted ASUS P5K64 WS Intel P35 DDR3 Motherboard Review

It's not something that we in the enthusiast world really think about, but there is a market out there for high-end computers that will probably never do any gaming, be overclocked, water cooled, or any other of the cool stuff that geeks do with their rigs. For example, a design engineer might desire a CAD workstation using multiple large screens...as many as six or eight...at high resolution. Anyone designing animation would like such a rig. So, what does someone desiring to build a modern upper-end graphics workstation do? Asus has an answer with the P5K64 WS, a workstation motherboard based on the very successful Intel P35 chipset. Today we will be looking at the P5K64 WS, to see if it has anything that would hold the interest of the enthusiast. Can it satisfy the geek? Read ahead to see.

HIS Radeon HD3870X2 Review
Overclockers Online posted a review on the HIS Radeon HD3870X2

With a big video card comes a lot of information I suppose and the HD3870X2 is amongst the biggest available at this time. We have learned a lot about this card today and thanks to some immature drivers, there is plenty to learn down the road. Overall though, the experience we had with the HIS HD3870X2 is a rather positive one. ATI has done well with the reference design and HIS stuck to that design to the letter. The performance of the HD3870X2 is quite impressive and as we saw in the benchmarks, pretty much the same as a pair of HD3870s in CrossFire. Performance issues aside, the HD3870X2 looks to be ready to play with the big boys in the GPU market and with future driver updates and game patches, things will only get better.

ZOTAC GeForce 8800 GT 512MB AMP! HDMI Video Card Review
Benchmark Reviews has released a new review on the ZOTAC GeForce 8800 GT 512MB AMP! HDMI Video Card

When you think of discrete graphics, your probably don't think low-end. It's very common, as with most things we can buy, for people to immediately shoot for the stars. In the video card world, this usually means discussing only the best money can buy, and this is the start of a bigger mistake. Very recently NVIDIA released their newest addition to the GeForce family: the 9600 GT. While it offers solid performance for the lower mid-range of discrete graphics, NVIDIA's 9th generation of video cards has only one offering thus far. Essentially, the latest is by far not the greatest.

Since the remaining heavyweights are soon to be replaced by the upcoming GeForce 9800 GTX and 9800 GX2 in just another month, there seems to be a gaping hole left in the new lineup. This is where the market will continue to cling onto the tried and true mid-range solution: the GeForce 8800 GT. Not so long ago here at Benchmark Reviews, we offered a very unique comparison of the GeForce 8800 Graphics Performance: GT vs GTS vs GTX. In this article, it was shown that a more affordable 8800 GT could easily beat an overclocked 8800 GTS and compare to the far more expensive 8800 GTX. Well now we can do one better because ZOTAC offers an 8800 GT that not only directly competes with the 8800 GTX, but it goes places nobody else in the 8800 series can: HDMI digital audio and video output.

AMD Phenom 9600 Black Box Edition Review
OCC has published a new review of the AMD Phenom 9600 Black Box Edition

The AMD Phenom 9600 Black Box Edition is definitely not a processor that does well when overclocked. From BSODs to BIOS corruption when trying to overclock, you might be missing some hair since you'll be pulling it out wondering what you are doing wrong. Out of the box I would say it performs the way it is suppose to; I did not have any problems running my benchmarks and all applications ran quite smoothly.

Gigabyte's GA-EP35-DS4 motherboard Review
Bit-Tech published a review of the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 motherboard

All things considered, even though the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 performs very well and fits well into a price niche we can't really recommend it C its only advantage over the significantly cheaper GA-EP35-DS3R is CrossFire, and it screws that up so much with its subpar layout that it becomes a net feature loss, not a gain. If you really want CrossFire, get the MSI P35 Platinum because it not only keeps up with the DS4 in all areas, it has a better layout and costs around 25 percent less!

The MSI P35 Platinum shows that it can not only match the EP35 power saving efforts, without needing funky software, but it's also been doing so since June last year. In addition, the Gigabyte solution doesn't adjust the front side bus and auto-overclock under load, like the Asus EPU. I think it's a great effort from Gigabyte C we're always massively in favour of energy efficiency, but the current system needs to be greatly refined.

Unfortunately the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 doesn't do it for us, but don't discount the whole EP35 range, because we'd certainly give the GA-EP35-DS3R some serious attention instead.

OnAir USB HDTV-GT review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the OnAir USB HDTV-GT

OnAir Solution's USB HDTV-GT is a moderately priced, but full-featured HDTV adapter for your PC. It doesn't have the couch potato appeal that a real TV has, but this probably works better than your TV.

With the GT you'll be able to record or pause your shows at up to 1080i resolutions, pulling from cable (QAM, unencrypted) or over the air. It will even do analog, while it lasts. Best reception of OTA signals does take a little fiddling with the antenna, but just a nudge can make all the difference. Highly recommended.

IPEVO Trio USB Handset Speakerphone Hybrid Review
Everything USB iposted their IPEVO Trio USB Handset Speakerphone Hybrid Review

One of the most interesting things about the growth of Skype is the development of Skype-specific devices, which are (presumably) meant to ease the shock of talking on the "phone" using a microphone and some computer speakers instead of a headset, but take away the free aspect of Skype and impose a more organized, made-for-business feeling on the VoIP network. Of course, appearances can be deceiving, so today's task: find out whether or not one particular Skype phone - the IPEVO Trio - makes the tradeoff of more features worth paying extra for your Skype hardware.
