Evercool Formula 2 graphics board cooler review
Elite Bastards posted Evercool Formula 2 graphics board cooler review

The rear of the box gives us a full compatibility list which takes in much of the GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series (apart from certain high-end GeForce 8800 parts), and a handful of ATI cards from the Radeon X1800 and X1900 series down to the later Radeon HD 3850 part.

The cooler's specifications are all noted here, as we can see that the device is constructed from copper and aluminium (as you'd expect), while also featuring an 80mm fan, with the cooler as a whole weighing a little over 230 grams.

PowerColor Radeon HD 4830 Graphics Card Review
TweakTown posted a review on the PowerColor Radeon HD 4830 Graphics Card

Today we have PowerColors version of the card. To date we've only had one HD 4830 come through the door and that card managed to set the bar high for the model. You have to wonder, is PowerColor going to come within arm's reach of the bar, or hop straight over it?

There's ultimately only one way to find out, so let's have a look at what the company has done with the package before we have a closer look at the card and then its performance. From there we will wrap it all up and hopefully the PowerColor card can offer us something that we didn't get from the MSI one which managed to impress.

Coolink GFX-Chilla Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Coolink GFX-Chilla.

Trying to find a air cooling heatsink for our video cards that not only cools well but is small enough to fit into our cases and on our motherboard without taking up 3+ slots, has become a complete nightmare. As video cards get bigger and faster, most think that the cooler that cools these cards should also be massive in size. Either it adds a lot of extra unneeded weight to our video cards or these coolers take up extra valuable PCI slots that we may need.

Coolink has introduced a GPU cooler that is short in height, and its overall length is surprisingly small when compared to other offerings. So, let's take a peak at this GPU cooler and see if it can handle an HD4870, shall we?

Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler Review
DragonSteelMod posted a review on the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler

Acoustic PC was kind enough to send us not only the NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler, but they included the Noctua NH-C12P for comparison, which can also be mounted with the SecuFirm 2 system onto an x58 motherboard. Although the NH-C12P is not sold with the mounting equipment for the LGA1366 based motherboards; that problem can be easily resolved by picking up the LGA1366 SecuFirm2 Mounting-Kit from Noctua.

Antec Skeleton Review
ASE Labs posted a review on the Antec Skeleton

Antec is one of the most respected and well known case manufactures in the computer industry. They make a variety of cases that satisfy the OEM crowd as well as the enthusiast niche. The skeleton is a completely unique design and the term "case" really doesn't describe the enclosure that well. This case is made to really show off your components.

Diamond Radeon HD 4870 1GB Review
TheTechLounge posted a review on the Diamond Radeon HD 4870 1GB

I don't think there's a stock 4830. Sapphire usually runs that route with the non-Toxic or their other variants, but I'm pretty sure that it's up to the board partner to build a better 4830; they're all different. Each has its own heatsink and board layout. Sapphire's is, at least, true to the namesake, and mega-blue.

Scythe Elixer Thermal Grease Review
PCShopTalk posted a review on the Scythe Elixer Thermal Grease

We can clearly see from the graphs that OCCT 3.0 has drawn that the difference between the 2 thermal compounds is almost a half of a degree, with the same CPU cooler, the Kama Angle. It is nice to see that by using another type of thermal compound, with a better formula, we can get better temperatures, while using the same cooling hardware.

OCZ DDR3 PC3 12800 Platinum 6GB Low Voltage Triple Channel Review
OCC has published a new review of the OCZ DDR3 PC3 12800 Platinum 6GB Low Voltage Triple Channel

The OCZ PC3 12800 Platinum 6GB kit did not disappoint! This set of modules was easily the fastest or highest performing in every test save one (PCMark Vantage total score). This is something that was expected going into the testing because of the tighter timings that the modules are designed to run at. Although specified to run at 7-7-7-24 with 1.65 volts, it took 1.7v to gain stability at the 1600MHz (800MHz) level. Even by playing with the subtimings the result was the same. This voltage requirement is not that far out of the realm of possibility, but falls outside the Intel recommended maximum voltage for the supplied voltage to the memory. Using this voltage as a maximum I was able to push the modules from 1600MHz to 1900MHz with just an increase in the subtimings.

In Win B2 Stealth Bomber Review
PureOverclock published a review of the In Win B2 Stealth Bomber case.

Today we're looking at the In Win B2 Stealth Bomber case, which is about as direct as a themed case can get. It looks the part-it even comes with decals to enhance the effect. It has a powered front cover which opens in a manner similar to the canopy of its namesake. The question, of course, is whether or not it performs similarly as well.

Sony PRS-505 E-Book Reader Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Sony PRS-505 E-Book Reader

So, why should you give a damn about these new fangled displays and why haven’t you heard more about them? – Well, they’re a new type of display designed to fill a niche in the market for displays that don’t require constant refreshing, unlike a monitor.

E-ink and e-paper displays have been subtly infiltrating our lives in a much more interesting way as well. Because of their incredibly low power drain, they make great static signs in just about every environment, from supermarket price tags, to mobile phone displays. The reason e-ink displays have been picked up for the e-book reader market is because of their low power consumption ability, the fact that the screen does not need to refresh until you turn a page and also their excellent readability in any lighting conditions.

Intel Core I7 920 Processor Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the Intel Core I7 920 Processor

What the Enthusiast needs to know about the Core I7 is that there is a lot of headroom to overclock. Most important is you don't have to have the most expensive processor to get great "Enthusiast Value". The motherboard used for this review was not an extreme edition X58, it was an entry level Gigabyte board - the one without all the bells and whistles. The processor used was the 920, which is the mainstream entry of the Core I7 processor. If it wasn't for my heatsink limitations, I'm sure I would have topped the 4GHz mark.

Sapphire Radeon HD4850 X2 2Gb Video Card Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon HD4850 X2 2Gb Video Card

So did Sapphire fill a niche void and provide a card to the consumer that wanted a dual core card without the killer huge price? You bet. This card at around US$275-$300 at the time of this review is a great deal and will have anyone enjoying the latest games with higher resolutions and quality settings while still providing decent framerates. Although this is no HD4870 X2 killer by any means, it does hold it own when it comes to your performance dollar.
