Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro CPU Cooler Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro CPU Cooler

Today we are getting a look at the newest offering from Arctic Cooling, the Freezer 13 Pro. The Freezer 13 Pro is the newest incarnation of the ever popular Freezer Line from Arctic Cooling. Join us to see how it stacks up against coolers like the Zalman CNPS 9900 Max.

The sound level rating that Arctic Cooling used for the Freezer 13 Pro is the Sone. The Sone is a perceived level of sound; it is not like dB ratings. Since there is no direct conversion, in a roundabout way, 0.4 Sone is roughly equivalent to 24 dBA. Now the Scythe fans I use in the test bench for top exhaust are rated 1200RPM and push 68.5 CFM at 24dBA. In my testing I found the Freezer 13 Pro’s fans to sound the same or quieter as the Scythe fans; I know I could not hear the Freezer 13 Pro over the Scythe fans....

HardwareHeaven.com posted a review on the PC Power and Cooling Silencer 760W Power Supply

2009 was the last time we looked at a new model, the Silencer 910w, which was another award winner and since then things have been a little quiet on the PCP&C front. That is something we rectify today as back in December they announced a new model in the range, the Silencer 760w and we have one connected to our test station.

PC Perspective posted a review on the Intel 510 Series 250GB SATA 6G Solid State Drive

Today we take a look at the newly released Intel 510 Series SSD. This is Intel's first SATA 6Gb/sec offering. Can Intel's SSD gurus transform a previously competing controller into something that can compete with their previous 10-channel monsters?

In addition to Gingerbread, the Nexus S touts a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and 16GB of internal memory.

Corsair HS1A Stereo Gaming Headset Review
TweakTown posted Corsair HS1A Stereo Gaming Headset Review

Our first introduction to the HS1 Headset from Corsair was quite a pleasant one. We found it to be a sturdy, well built headset that offered great audio performance for what was a decent pricing point. However, Corsair has sensed the yearning for a non-USB version of the successful headset and has thus come out with a new one. Well, sort of...

You see, while the paint has indeed changed and the USB connection is now gone, below the surface this is in fact nearly the same product as the original HS1. And we do not have an issue with that, simply because as we have stated above, it was already a great sounding set of headphones. So in affect, what we have here is a slimmed down 'light weight' version of the original HS1 - Minus all the fancy software working in the background, which we must add worked extremely well on the original when we tested it.

Zalman ZM-VE200 External HDD Case and Virtual Drive
MEGATechNews reviews a product that helps you abolish optical media

All hard drive enclosures are pretty much the same right? As long as they’re reliable, it’s really much more about the drive that you put inside, right? The new Zalman ZM-VE200 is trying to change that by offering a rather unique feature you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else: virtual drive functionality.

Corsair Force F90 90GB Solid-State Drive Review
Techgage.com posted a look at Corsair's Force F90 90GB SSD.

There couldn't be a better time than the present to purchase an SSD, and on the same token, it's also a strange time. Performance drives cost the same as budget drives, and a perfect example of this is Corsair's Force F90. It's priced-right, offers incredible performance, and makes perfect use of its SandForce SF-1200 controller.

Thermaltake V9 BlacX Review
OCC has published a review on the Thermaltake V9 BlacX

The wire management accommodations in the V9 BlacX are seriously lacking and can use some improvement. There is very little room behind the motherboard tray to run wires, and nothing to really route them around. I really did my best on the wire management here, and I'm not terribly happy with the results. I did also find that the power supply mounting bracket does not allow for the power supply to be flipped over, allowing for a slight advantage with wire management since the cables can start closer to the motherboard tray.

Coolit Vantage A.L.C. CPU Cooler Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the Coolit Vantage A.L.C. CPU Cooler

Sealed, all-in-one water coolers seem to be the fastest-growing segment of the CPU cooler market today. Air coolers are reaching their physical limits: given the room inside existing cases, and the (frequently ignored) weight limits defined for CPU coolers, something like a Prolimatech Megahalems is about as big as you can get without running into problems. Water cooling systems work around these problems by moving the heat exchanger off of the CPU socket, and using a fluid to transfer heat from the CPU to the heat exchanger. Coolit Systems has been making retail and bespoke liquid cooling systems for some years now, and the Coolit Vantage A.L.C. cooler brings new features and performance to the fray. Benchmark Reviews pits this new entry against existing air and water coolers in a performance showdown.

HIS Radeon HD 6970 Turbo FAN 2GB Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the HIS Radeon HD 6970 Turbo FAN 2GB

We have a look at a Radeon HD 6970 based on the reference design, yet the TURBO model from HIS as this R6970 comes factory clocked. Although we expected a little more in frequencies for a product tagged Turbo, this R6970 comes factory clocked at 900MHz and with a memory clock of 5,600MHz.

But ah well, we'll bring the card quite close to a nice manual overclock, and that my friends means added value on what seems to be a very interesting product. Check out the review right here

Akasa DuoDock 2S USB 3.0 Docking Station Review
eTeknix.com posted a review on the Akasa DuoDock 2S USB 3.0 Docking Station

Hard drive docks are not a new thing but they have always been severely limited by the transfer rates between the drive and the computer itself and as such it makes it very hard to do any form of backup within a sensible timeframe. While it is not essential to back-up every file on your computer regularly it is pretty important to keep a ever-increasing amount backed up. For me, it is essential to have all of my 'My Documents' backed-up and I have always aimed to do this on a weekly basis. However in recent months this collection of files has grown to well in excess of 20 GB which may or may not sound a lot but this size is not that uncommon between regular computer users, especially those of us who play a 'few' computer games and do have quite a wide taste in music.
Akasa are mostly known for their computer cooling systems especially in the CPU cooling area. However, you may be surprised to know that they do also make cases, card readers, external enclosures, hubs and power supplies.
This review is of course a docking station which features the latest USB 3.0 interface which does in theory allow up to 5 gigabit per second speeds which should work out about 10 times faster than USB 2.0 . This does certainly sound like a nice improvement, we will see in this review if these speeds can be expected as well as the normal reviewing criteria.
