Coolink Silentator Review
Bjorn3D posted a review on the Coolink Silentator

This, once again, goes back to your thinning wallet. Coolink understands your pain, and that is why they have rolled out the Silentator. At only $50 USD, this is one of the cheaper CPU coolers. Generally, with cheapness comes a lack of quality. Will the Silentator, with its cheaper price, be able to outperform the stock AMD heat sink? Moreover, will the Silentator be able to handle the extra heat for those who dare to increase CPU voltage? With a few tests we should be able to determine if this cooler stacks up to others in its price range.

Bjorn3D takes a look at the PromoLocker Customized USB Flash Drives

USB flash drives have become a necessity in our daily life as a primary means of portable data storage. Many of us probably have a few of flash drives in different shapes and sizes laying around on our desktops. You just cannot have enough of these drives.

If you have ever been to any computer trade shows, you will see that many corporations will give out customized USB drives as prizes or as promotional material. It used to be that only the big corporations could afford to have their customized USB drives because the cost of the drives was high. Nowadays, with the drives selling as cheap as $10 for 8GB, it suddenly is possible even for average Joe like you and me to customize our own USB drives with our own logo and data.

Xigmatek NRP-MC751 750w Power Supply Review
HardOCP posted a review on the Xigmatek NRP-MC751 750w Power Supply

The Xigmatek brand is one of the newer faces in the enthusiast DIY market having been launched in 2005. However, Xigmatek’s parent company may be more familiar to the storage minded individuals as Micro Technology Concepts, Inc. or MTC Direct which has been around since 1989. With the establishment of the Xigmatek brand Micro Technology Concepts, Inc. has expanded into some new niches as they now brand products that include CPU coolers, VGA coolers, fans, and power supplies. Having moved away from their roots of distributing storage products Xigmatek has chosen Channel Well Technology as their OEM partner for the NRP series of power supplies. Today we have the 4th Xigmatek branded unit in for review and this unit is the Xigmatek NRP-MC751 and is a member of Xigmatek's line of MC "No Rules Power" units that slots in just below the NRP-MC851 we previously reviewed.

BFG EX-1200 Power Supply Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the BFG EX-1200 Power Supply

BFG today launches their new EX-1200 power supply. A beast of a PSU that is reasonably affordable. A power supply that is silent, efficient, has long cabling, is pure quality, has an ATX size chassis, is completely themed dark and perhaps after all these years might be able to replace my kilowatt PSUs. As what BFG is bringing to the table is comforting.

This 1200 Watt piece of machinery is fairly close to what I consider perfection in terms of design and requirements .. and with a price just under 250 USD, BFG might have something really special on their hands.

Guru3D reviews this all new monster packed in ATX size.

Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe Review
Phoronix posted a review on the Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe running under Linux

While a relatively simple device, web-cameras are still an area on Linux that can be problematic when it comes to compatibility and the device functioning properly. The level of Linux support for USB web-cameras has improved quite a bit in recent years, and for many devices it is now a plug-and-play experience, but that is not the case for all devices. In this article we are taking a brief look at the Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe. The QuickCam Communicate Deluxe has a 1.3 mega-pixel sensor with the capabilities to capture video up to a resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 30 frames per second.

AMA Aragon 900 Water Cooling Kit Review
OCC has published a new review on the AMA Aragon 900 Water Cooling Kit

At stock settings, under both idle and load conditions, AMA's water cooling kit is able to hang out not only with the top end air coolers, but also the custom water cooling loop built out of high end components. Temperatures aren't exactly impressive, but water, just like air, has it's cooling power limited by ambient temperature. So under relatively light loads, there isn't much gain to be had. I thought the tide would turn in favor of AMA when overclocked, but the performance against air coolers isn't all that impressive. At idle, all four unsurprisingly keep the processor around the same temperature. However, this all changes under load. AMA's kit just can't keep up with the custom loop or even Thermalright's cooler. Fortunately, it doesn't claim the last place and is able to shave 3 degrees Celsius off Noctua's flagship heatsink.

Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic 216SP Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic 216SP

Because of the various factors working against desktop graphics, I'd say that now is the time for manufacturers to stop building a bigger mousetrap, and instead build it better. That's what Palit does, and their approach to discreet graphics products usually follows the rule of function before fashion. In this case, it's function and realistic performance needs before fashion and marketing hype. Sure, NVIDIA would lover for you to believe that SLI is necessary to play the newest video games, but oddly enough the nearly all new games still work fairly well with a single three-generation old video card. So where's the sweet spot? Benchmark Reviews tests the Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic 216SP model NE3X262SFT394-PM8026 video card to see just how much money you need to spend to enjoy fast frame rates at high resolution.
