APH Networks posted a review on the Asus Arctic Square CPU Cooler

If you take a look at Asus' website, you may notice one very interesting observation: They make, like, everything. Right off my head, I can already check off motherboards, graphics cards, cases, PDAs, laptops, optical drives, networking products... what's next, a sound card (Oh wait, remember the Xonar D2 and D2X at CeBIT earlier this year)? Anyway, when it comes to thermal solutions and component cooling, Asus probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Roughly two weeks ago, Asus contacted me and asked me if I wanted to take a look at their latest CPU cooling solution -- the Asus Arctic Square. I am always enthusiastic to try new things, but I must confess, right at that moment... I vaguely remember thinking that, in straightforward terms -- it'll probably be a disappointment (Sorry, I was just being honest!). But after going through some testing, I discovered that my initial thoughts regarding Asus' Arctic Square is quite far from the truth. And let me tell you why.

Hi-Techreviews.com posted CoolIT Zreezone CPU Cooler Review

After having used some of the better water cooling systems on the market it was quite evident that they were not able to handle the hot humid days of summer. So when we spoke to the nice guys from CoolIT Systems at CES back in January we appeared to have found some devices that might be able to satisfy our summer heat problems. Today we are reviewing the CoolIT Freezone CPU Cooler and I have to admit that after using it for about 30-days we are totally blown away by the results . Come check them out for yourself.

I4U NEWS reviews the Dell 30" UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC LCD PC Monitor

The Dell 30" UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC LCD replaced the old 30" display that carried the same model number, minus the "-HC" designation. The new display has the same gray-to-gray response time of 12ms but improves upon the color gamut that the screen can reproduce, hence the =96HC (high color) designation of the new screen.

FrostyTech posted Cooljag Falcon 92-CU Heatsink Review

The Cooljag Falcon 92-Cu is identical to the Falcon 92-AL heatsink, except that it uses all copper fins where the later has fins of aluminum. Both versions use a 92mm fan that is internally illuminated with a couple green LEDs. To minimize the noise produced by the fan spinning unnecessarily fast, it is thermally controlled by a small thermistor that senses case air temperature.

techPowerUp posted a review on the NZXT Adamas

NZXT is well known for producing some very high quality components. The Adamas is constructed of 3 mm thick sheets of aluminum and only utilizes the best in materials and some very innovative engineering. A price tag of just under $200 US Dollars demands this quality as well as high expectations on compatibility and the installation process. We take a close look at every aspect of this case to let you know if it is worth it.

Bjorn3D posted a review on the Super Talent T800UX4GC5 Memory

Not only that we see the price drop in the DDR2, the higher capacity RAM (which used to lag behind in timing and clock speed of the lesser capacity) with faster clock speed and timings are also starting to appear on the market to satisfy the enthusiasts who not only wish to have larger RAM but also need the overclocking potential. Bjorn3D has officially kicked in the 4 gig memory review with Miles’s review on the Mushkin XP2-8500 DDR2. The Mushkin’s XP2-8500 is geared toward extreme overclockers as it offers great overclocking ability but it comes with a high price tag. Today, we will take a look at the Super Talent’s T800UX4GC5, a more mainstream priced RAM that will satisfy users who wish to have 4 gigs of ram without breaking their wallets.

Fastsilicon posted a review on the Addonics ADSAHDCF SATA/CF Adapter

Mobile/Car PC systems, custom Micro ATX, Mini ITX, Pico ITX systems. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination. If you can think of a project scenario where the size, electrical requirements, noise levels, and shock resistance of a standard HDD just wouldn't be wise, this might very well be the way to go.

Apart from a few "gotcha's" from a performance standpoint due to the nature of Compact Flash itself, the Addonics ADSAHDCF SATA/CF Adapter makes deployment no more complicated than using a standard HDD, and as such we recommend it. Addonic's could do us all a favor and generate a simple list of Compact Flash devices they recommend for use with the device. If they did, the experience with the product would be about perfect.

Bjorn3D posted a review on the Albatron 8600GTS Video Card

Back in November 2006 everything changed with the release of a new style of video card. I say new style because it left behind everything we have come to expect from video cards at the time. Pixel and texture shaders were replaced with stream processors, no longer would you have to choose between Anti-aliasing and HDR, and picture quality would never be the same from the green team. The 8800 series had arrived and it brought with it a great many advancements in video card technology of which the most heralded was DirectX 10. It also brought with it a hefty price tag many people could not justify spending on a single component for their computer. So for some time these advancements were out of reach for many of us as we gazed upon amazing scores of 3DMark and watched as frame rates climbed ever higher. Well, now it’s time for the rest of us to have some fun! Enter the 8600 series GPU from Nvidia.
