Black & Decker PowerToGo Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Black & Decker PowerToGo 20W

You know what you do when you don't have a place to get some juice for your gear? You get portable power. Black and Decker created this nifty little contraption called the PowerToGo. You can get it in 3 flavors, 10w, 20w, and 100w. I opted for the 20w because I didn't figure I would need much more than that to power my PSP and cell phone, and because the 2Ah battery that comes with it is half the weight of the 4Ah battery inside the 100w version. Weight is an issue when traveling.

Eagle Tech ET-CS2XMESU2-BK 2.5 SATA to eSATA/USB Enclosure Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Eagle Tech ET-CS2XMESU2-BK 2.5 SATA to eSATA/USB Enclosure.

If you are a regular reader of Bjorn3D.com, you will know that we have reviewed many external enclosures for both 2.5'' and 3.5'' hard drives. We have been a big fan of the enclosures that not only comes with USB ports but also eSATA ports simply because of the share better transfer rate from the eSATA ports. Many 3.5'' hard drive enclosures we have reviewed in fact have already come with eSATA port but so far we have not seen many 2.5'' enclosure that comes with eSATA port. They are slowly appearing to the market as more and more motherboard manufacutrers are incorporate such connector on the back I/O. If you have a motherboard with such port, it would be a good idea to have an enclosure with eSATA port built-in so you can fully take its transfering performance advantage.

Latosta Portable Laptop Stand Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the Latosta Portable Laptop Stand

Basically the product is comprised of two simple metal brackets that slide onto each side of the laptop and elevates the back of the machine off the work surface. Imagine the flip down tabs on the back of desktop keyboards; that is the mechanism at work with this product.

HP MediaSmart Server LX195 Review
HotHardware posted a review on the HP MediaSmart Server LX195

Windows Home Server is quite possibly one of Microsoft's most unheralded operating systems. Many speak longingly of Windows XP, jokingly of Windows ME, disappointedly of Windows Vista, and hopefully of Windows 7. But seldom discussed is the little-known and little-used operating system designed to be installed on a home server and act as a central depository for serving media and other files, as well as a place to backup your home systems' files. For those who have used it, many praise Windows Home Server's functionality and performance...

EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition

FTW! A common acronym used by gamers which means: For the Win. But do they know where FTW was derived from and how long it has been in use? The phrase actually started back in the 70's with the popular game show Hollywood Squares, when a contestant was positive that he was going to beat his opponent he (she) would say For the Win, which was later made an acronym FTW. There was another meaning for FTW, but this was more negative and, as of late, it is not used as commonly. (Use your imagination)

The EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition is an overclocked version of the GTX 275 NVIDIA based GPU. The EVGA GTX 275 FTW Edition has a 713 MHz GPU core clock speed and 1260 X2 MHz of Memory clock, as opposed to the standard GTX 275, which comes with 633MHz (core) and 1188 X2 (memory). The EVGA GeForce GTX 275 FTW Edition comes standard with 896 MB of DDR3 Memory and has 240 processing cores, as well as a maximum digital resolution of 2560 X 1600.

Intel Previews Nehalem-EX Octal-Core Processor Architecture
HotHardware posted a preview on the Nehalem-EX Octal-Core Processor Architecture

Intel just held a press conference in which the company spoke about its next-generation server processor, currently code-named Nehalem-EX. As its name suggests, the Nehalem-EX is based on the Nehalem microarchitecture which debuted with Xeon 5500 and Core i7 series processors. The Nehalem-EX series however, will be decidedly more high-end in terms of specifications and performance. Whereas current Xeon 5500 series processors feature four execution cores per CPU with support for up to eight threads through Intel's Hyper-Threading technology, the Nehalem-EX series will be outfitted with up to eight execution cores per chip with support for up to sixteen threads, and 24MB of cache. In addition, Nehalem-EX will also sport features carried over from the Itanium line, like Machine Check Architecture (MCA) Recovery.

Thermaltake MeOrb Low Profile CPU Cooler Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Thermaltake MeOrb Low Profile CPU Cooler

When you're building a small form factor system or HTPC, you often face the major issue of keeping all your components cooled properly while remaining relatively quiet. Although the stock CPU cooler may fit perfectly in your case, it's not always the quietest or highest performing solution. When you start browsing upgrade coolers, you'll see that there are clearly hundreds on the market to choose from but most will leave you with one problem - they are probably too tall for your desktop-style HTPC/SFF case! Looking to provide a good performing and quiet cooler to fix this problem, Thermaltake has come to the rescue with the MeOrb.

Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 GeForce GTX 260 Videocard Review
PC Stats posted a review on the Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 GeForce GTX 260 Videocard

Sparkle has teamed up with nVidia to produce the Sparkle GTX260 Core 216, a graphics card that stands as a direct challenger to AMD's Radeon 4870 graphics card. The "Core 216" part of the Sparkle GTX260 Core 216 videocard's name refers to the GPU having additional shader processors enabled. While the original Geforce 260 GTX had 192 shader processors, the Core 216 variant has an additional 24 enabled, for a grand total of, you guessed it, 216 shader processors.

AOC 2216Sw and AOC 619Fh Review
InsideHW.com has reviewed AOC 2216Sw and AOC 619Fh displays

More about AOC brand you can get from their site, which will take to the manufacturers site: TPV Technology from China. Beside monitors that we got in our test lab, we saw on both sites very interesting and nicely designed displays. Also we stumbled upon info that TPV is "leading display solution provider" which is the fact that isn't that easy to confirm. Nevertheless it looks like monitors that we got on test are made before this manufacturer employed a real designer. But let's not judge the book by its covers, because these models have very attractive price tags.

ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix Review
OCC has published a new review of the ASUS ENGTX260 Matrix

After a few failed attempts at increasing the clock speeds I went right to the voltage controls and started upping the voltage to reach higher clock speeds. I was only able to increase the clock speed on the GPU by an additioanl 5MHZ but the Shader clock speeds responded well to the voltage and gave up another 92MHz worth of clock speed, giving me final numbers of 754/1235/1593. These are the highest clock speeds I have ever gotten on a GTX 260-216sp card hands down. Fan speeds were kept constant at the 100% mark throughout the overclocked testing as the Matrix was not audible over the Scythe Kaze fans used on my heatsink.

GIGABYTE MA790GP-UD4H 790GX Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the GIGABYTE MA790GP-UD4H 790GX Motherboard

AM3 is AMD’s big cash cow now and while this CPU isn’t really able to compete with the Intel Core i7 on performance, its price point really has a major plus amongst the more budget conscious users, especially in the global financial crisis. Saving as many dollars as you can really means a lot more than it did the same time last year and to this end AMD really has a leg up here.

The other big plus, and this is where I personally really thank AMD, is that they have not just thrown away their older users. AM3 based processors can be run in any AM2+ based board thanks to its dual mode memory controller. AM3 CPU’s have a dual channel DDR2 and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller. This means that you can slap one of the newest AMD Phenom II processors in your already setup AM2+ boards and continue to use your existing hardware and later on you an upgrade to an AM3 board with DDR3 and newer technologies and still keep your CPU; it’s just that simple and AMD has really thought of everything.

Thermaltake Toughpower XT W0229RU 750W Modular Power Supply Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the Thermaltake Toughpower XT W0229RU 750W Modular Power Supply

At around $200, the XT is at the very top of its class, both in features and cost. While the XT has great specs, a generous and innovative feature set and outstanding components and efficiency, 200 bones still seems a bit excessive for a 750W PSU these days. Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent power supply and the five-tear warranty sweetens the deal a bit, but the high cost almost kept it off the Top Rank list.

Averatec 18.4" All-In-One PC Review
TechSpot posted a review on the Averatec 18.4" All-In-One PC

Averatec recently released an All-In-One PC aimed at the general computer user. This desktop 18.4" system employs Intel's Atom mobile processor and comes in a very small and aesthetically pleasing package which sells for $490.

The base of the All-In-One PC is roughly one square inch larger than a standard 10" netbook. Despite being nearly the same size, Averatec has managed to include an optical drive, something we aren't used to seeing in a footprint this small.

Technical specifications are similar to most netbooks, with an Intel Atom N270 processor operating at 1.6 GHz, Intel 945MS + ICH7 chipset, 1GB of DDR 2 memory, 160 GB hard drive spinning at 5400 RPM, 10/100 LAN and 802.11 b/g WLAN, all running on Windows XP Home Edition.
