PowerColor PCS+ Radeon HD5550 Video Card Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the PowerColor PCS+ Radeon HD5550 Video Card

For every new chip design comes a fleet of new products. The launch of ATI's 5000 series powerhouses is already becoming old news. In the wake of leading edge technology there is always a turbulent sea of opportunity both for chip makers, partners and consumers. The turbulence there is caused by mid-range and budget products developed on new technology competing with high-end and mid-range products from past generations. One card released in this wild market is PowerColor's PCS+ HD 5550. The HD 5550 is based on the same Redwood GPU as ATI's mid-range 5670. While the 5550 was released by ATI as a low end form factor card, PowerColor model AX5550 512MD5-PP has beefed up the clock, memory, board and cooler to put some power into something most of us can afford.

XFX HD 5570 Review
OCC has published a review on the XFX HD 5570

Although the HD 5570 is not a gaming powerhouse, it is a very capable graphics card. This was clearly evident during the benchmarking process, as once the in-game settings were reduced, the HD 5570 continuously achieved playable frames-per-second in most of the games. This is an impressive feat for a graphics card that retails for $80. Still, there was a performance issue that just can not be overlooked. This is that where most manufacturers use DDR3 memory - XFX is using slower DDR2. This greatly reduces the GPU bandwidth and creates a situation where the on-board memory is limiting the graphics cards performance. In fact, in test after test it repeatedly fell behind the cheaper HD 5550.

Radioactive PC Plasma Mainstream Gaming System Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Radioactive PC Plasma Mainstream Gaming System

We all know someone that loves computer games, but knows nothing about computers. They want a really fast system, but have no clue how to build one. This is where custom PC builders come in. The thing with many of them is that they are extremely overpriced and they really dont treat the customer right. Recently we were contacted by Radioactive PC. They are relatively new company that was founded in 2003. They offered is one of their desktops to review and of course we accepted. The system they sent us is their Plasma Mainstream system. Lets take this system for a test drive and see if it makes it through all of our tests!

PowerShot SX210 IS Digital Camera Review
TestFreaks takes a look at the PowerShot SX210 IS Digital Camera

Today for review I’ve got the new Canon PowerShot SX210 IS that is not your typical point and shoot camera, at least not what you would consider a family camera. The SX210 IS is a feature packed camera that I think professionals and novices alike will appreciate and find easy to use. There’s a ton of features that make it a family friendly, but underneath all of that lies a camera with professional features, so it’s much more than just a point and shoot.

Argosy HV676 MediaPlay USB HD Media Player Review
iGadget Life posted a review on the Argosy HV676 MediaPlay USB HD Media Player

Our good pals at Geeks.com have sent over yet another delightful gizmo to try out. This time we’ve received the Argosy MediaPlay, a small entry-level media player designed to let you watch video, pictures and listen to audio via your television or home theater system without the use of a connected computer. It’s a simple enough idea with a simple enough execution, as this inexpensive little box works fairly well for what it’s supposed to do. Let’s take a look…

Palit GTX 470 Review
Neoseeker takes a look at the GTX 470, from Palit

As for performance the Palit GTX 470 didn't perform to bad in our DirectX 10 benchmarks. However, I would have liked to see it perform a bit better. As soon as we introduced the card to our DirectX 11 benchmarks it crushed the competition. It was able to keep up with its' bigger brother, the GTX 480 and in one benchmark outperform it.

Cooler Master Hyper TX3 G1 CPU Cooler Review
Hardware Secrets posted a review on the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 G1 CPU Cooler

Some months ago we tested Cooler Master Hyper TX3 cooler, which has done well for a mainstream cooler. Cooler Master has revised this cooler and we decided to review this new version, which got the new part number RR-910-HTX3-G1, while the older version is internally called RR-910-HTX3-GP. Cooler Master is calling using the same name on this new version and therefore we decided to refer to the new revised model as Hyper TX3 G1 to avoid confusion.
