techPowerUp posted a new review on the Silverstone Sugo SG02 SFF chassis

The Sugo SG02 is a small form factor case for MicroATX motherboards which is based on the SG01 Evolution but brings it to the mainstream segment at a much lower price point. The interior of the SFF case is kept very simple but efficient, which makes installation a breeze, while the very unusual white color variant will certainly stand out on any desk, living room or LAN party and goes great with a silver optical drive or two.

3D Game Man posted a review on the Western Digital 750GB Hard Drive (WD7500AAKS)

The Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB Hard Drive (WD7500AAKS) is one of the largest hard drives currently on the market. Why does anyone need a hard drive this large? Well, if you are asking this question, you probably don't. On the other hand, if you have or are building a Home Theatre PC you most certainly can use the space. Movies, family videos, pictures, music, TV shows, games and other data require a lot of space. This hard drive performs very well, is quiet and affordable. It's a must have for any serious computer user. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

BurnOutPC.com has posted a review on the Nexus 80-Plus Real Silent 400Watts power supply.

It's a great thing that products nowadays get better and better. Back in the day I tested a couple of silent power supplies but they were junk compared to the standards set these days. The Nexus 80-Plus Real Silent power supply is performing real nicely with little to no noise at all. The power supply was more than capable of handling my system. A much more advanced system with dual cards would be no problem either. I think Nexus has produced a really nice power supply at a competitive pricing, it can be found for around 90 euro's.

OCC has published a new review of the ECS AMD690GM-M2 Motherboard

ECS (Elite Group) produces such a motherboard and it is named the AMD690GM-M2. This is a Socket AM2 micro ATX board, with graphics onboard by ATI (Radeon1250). Can this motherboard save you the cost of purchasing a separate video card and will it have the gusto to satisfy your needs of an all around rig?

TheTechLounge has a new article up: A Woman's Primer to Building Her Own Computer - Part 1

The computer world has known for a long time that girls are to be taken seriously. Games can be ridiculously fun and appeal to everyone. And it's not just about The Sims and Bejeweled; girls want to grab a lightsaber or don platemail and save the world from Oblivion just as much as boys do, so what's stopping us from building our own computers?

Mikhailtech posted Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB Hard Drive Review

The past decade has seen exponential growth in everything. Our cars are bigger, our fries are bigger, and our storage needs are definitely bigger. Games that once took up a third of a CD now suck up entire DVDs, high definition video is all but common, and with the nonstop rise of the Information Age it's easier than ever to acquire lots and lots of "stuff". In the 90s, 4GB was considered a large hard drive. Nowadays anything short of 100 is problematic and anyone who uses a PC on a regular basis for more than just word processing will quickly run out of room. Western Digital has answered the call with their largest drive to date: the 750GB, 16MB cache Caviar SE16. Only Hitachi has a larger hard drive, debuting at 1TB (yes, we're finally there). So let's see what WD cooked up this time.

DragonSteelMods posted a review on the Hard Disk Shape 2.5" IDE HDD Enclosure from Brando WorkShop

In my time as a reviewer I've reviewed quite a few different hard drive enclosures, but none quite like this one from our friends at Brando WorkShop. This hard drive enclosure actually looks like a hard drive, it definitely puts a new twist on hard drive enclosures. The version I have for review today also features a one touch backup button as well to make life much easier for those of us on the go...

PC Apex posted a review on the Eagle Tech T-Series and M-Series External HDD Enclosures

External enclosures. Throw in a simple internal hard drive and you have an external "Portable" hard drive. However, choosing an enclosure is not a simple matter once you've seen what all is available. There are different materials, different sizes, different interfaces, different cooling techniques, etc.

The company behind Eagle Tech has been around since 1992. Sky Hawk Computer Group, of which Eagle Tech is a subsidiary, have expanded since 1992 and currently produces computer cases, power supply units and external enclosures. Though still a relatively unheard of name, their products have some of the best features and best prices out there. Their Consensus line of external enclosures is currently on the chopping block. I'll be testing the ET-CSTSIU2-BK and ET-CSMESU2-BK today.

Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router

Draft N is all the buzz around the WiFi circles, and manufacturers are pushing their early products onto store shelves dispite the constant technical changes to the new unapproved draft. Although early product relases incorporating the 802.11n draft 1.0 were first seen in 2006, they did not seem to win over critics' opinion because of poor performance. The D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N Gigabit Router is a draft 802.11n compliant device which claims to be up to 14x faster and have 6x the range of 802.11g while staying backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices.

InsideHW posted Antec P180 & Nine Hundred Review

The computer case market situation is a great deal clearer compared to the state from a few years ago. There are only a couple of major players remaining in the competitive section, those being the likes of Cooler Master, ThermalTake, Chieftec or Chenbro. We had a couple of cases on test from the fifth major - Antec. Spoilt a great deal by the previous fantastic cases we had the privilege to test, we had most rigorous expectations from these ones.

Virtual-Hideout posted Silverstone SG03 Micro-ATX Enclosure Review

When SST says redesigned, they mean redesigned. The SG03 is a unique SFF enclosure and does indeed earn the title of being SST's new flagship enclosure. The aluminum construction and dual mini bezel doors with front panel mesh intake really show off the front of the SG03. The hard drive trays also double as heatsinks, and the enclosure brace also doubles as a 3.5" bracket. Brilliant!

TrustedReviews have looked at the HP Pavilion S3040

The S3000 is aimed squarely at the home user who wants a computer with enough horsepower for all those normal tasks but with none of the extra frills and, perhaps most importantly, that they’d be happy to have sitting proudly on their desk.

TrustedReviews have looked at the LG 50PB65 50in plasma TV

Chocolate is one of our favourite things. We can’t get enough of the stuff and we really don’t like its name to be taken in vain. So our relationship with LG’s ‘Chocolate’ 50PB65 50in plasma TV gets off to a decidedly rocky start when biting enthusiastically into a corner of it gives us nothing but toothache for our trouble. Hmm.

TrustedReviews have looked at the Sigma SD14 Digital SLR

The Sigma SD14 is unique. It is currently the only camera that uses a 14-megapixel Foveon X3 Direct Image CMOS sensor, which operates on a different principle to the Bayer-mask mosaic sensors used by every other digital camera on the market. It isn’t the first one to do so, since the two previous Sigma digital SLRs, the SD9 and SD10, used earlier smaller versions of the X3 sensor, but since those cameras are no longer in production the SD14 is the only model available that uses this innovative technology.

HEXUS.net posted an article on AMD's Barcelona quad-core platform

With the launch of AMD's much-anticipated Barcelona native quad-core processor around one month away, we were invited to London to pick the brains of Felipe Payet about why he thinks Intel should be worried.

Felipe came away brain intact (he's a tall guy, we couldn't reach) and so we took solace in some tasty morsels of information instead.
Watch out Intel, there's an uprising in Barcelona...
