Otterbox 8000 Waterproof Case Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Otterbox 8000 Waterproof Case

Back up the truck: I received the OtterBox 8000 Series Waterproof Case just in time for a camping trip. Although small in size (the 8000 Series case is meant for GPS units, cameras, sunglasses, etc.), I was able to pack around quite a few small objects (like matches, camera, iTouch) locked securely inside of it. During this trip, the case was subjected to a lot of abuse, considering what a klutz I am by nature. I dropped it from my belt while mountain biking, sloshed it in a stream, smashed it with a cooler, and still it survived another day.

Eagletech ET-AR302-BK 2.0 soundstage speakers review
Elite Bastards posted Eagletech ET-AR302-BK 2.0 soundstage speakers review

As per their ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 speaker system, these ET-AR302-BK speakers certainly succeed in looking the part complete with a wood finish and overall aesthetic which looks pretty stylish to my eyes. The only real downside is that they seem to attract dust pretty readily on those rather shiny plastic fronts, which does reduce their looks over time unless you're going to visit them regularly with a duster.

The right-hand speaker is the main one for the unit, and thus holds both a power and volume control switch as well as being the speaker which connects to the mains. A blue LED lights up when the speakers are turned on, which may be distracting to some during normal operation but I didn't find it an issue to be honest.

Thermaltake Luxa2 LM100 Mini Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Thermaltake Luxa2 LM100 Mini

The Luxa2 LM100 Mini is the smallest HTPC enclosure of that brand in the line-up. It can fit a mini-ITX board, but does it manage to deliver a compact and concentrated dose of all the features we look for in an HTPC chassis?

Coolermaster SNA 95 Notebook Adapter Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Coolermaster SNA 95 Notebook Adapter

While not in our typical review lineup, a universal notebook adapter is something I've wished I had around from time to time, as I'm sure many of you have as well. One of the advantages of using a universal adapter is always going to be price. Face it, things give out and have to be replaced. OEM products are almost always more expensive, sometimes significantly so.

Granted, power adapters are more common and aren't as bad as some parts, like the hard drive I replaced in a friend's laptop. The manufacturer (I'll leave names out of it, to avoid litigation) wanted $345 plus shipping for the HDD. Nothing special, just a 40GB 2.5' IDE drive that's 3 years old or so. I picked up a bigger, faster drive online for $59.99, but I digress. The only reason I mention it is to illustrate the cost difference between OEM and aftermarket.

The power supply for our test laptop, which happens to be a Dell, retails for just shy of $70 from their website. While the Cooler Master is priced very close to that particular adapter, it does have some added functionality not offered from Dell, a USB charger built in. It's rather nice to be able to charge any of your USB devices in addition to or in place of your laptop computer.

Kingston SSDNow V Series 64GB SSD Upgrade Kit Review
TweakTown takes a look at the Kingston SSDNow V Series 64GB SSD Upgrade Kit

Kingston has another drive in their stable. This one isn’t about blazing performance or high capacity. The Kinston SSDNow V Series is all about affordability and accessibility; just think of the V as Value. Unlike the E (Enterprise) and M (Mainstream) SSDNow Series drives, the V class uses an updated JMicron controller with 64K cache. Don’t be turned off by the name so fast, the problematic JMicron controller only used 16K of cache so the issues of the past shouldn’t apply here, but we will test to verify.

Since the SSDNow V Series is all about value, we have to talk about the cost in the introduction. Just how low has Kingston been able to take this new line of products? The 64GB model that we are testing here today is currently available at Newegg for 133.99 USD. Of course, 64GB doesn’t give us a whole lot of capacity to play around with, so we will talk about the larger drives as well on the next page.

ASUS ENGTS250 1GB GTS 250 Video Card Review
Bigbruin.com has posted a review on the ASUS ENGTS250 1GB GTS 250 Video Card

The ASUS ENGTS250 1GB GTS 250 video card's heatsink is unique and not only gives the card a different look, but also makes it appealing in situations where low noise and low heat production are a must. I can see it being a good fit in a desktop or an HTPC setting where decent 3D performance may be desired, but where serious game play is not a priority.

FrosyTech posted 3RSystem Iceage 80 Prima Mini Heatsink Review

3Rsystem's Iceage 80 Prima Mini is a compact CPU cooler that stands just 104mm tall. It's ideally suited towards compact PC systems, slim cases, or simply as a low noise cooling solution for energy efficient sub-85W processors. Given the burgeoning volume of 85W, 65W and 45W energy efficient processors, compact coolers like the Iceage 80 Prima Mini are certainly handy for any PC situation where there's not a lot of headroom.

IN WIN X-Fighter Mini-Tower Case Review
TweakTown posted a review on the IN WIN X-Fighter Mini-Tower Case

Pieces from IN WIN such as the Na incorporated an actual porcelain Sushi plate on top of the storage unit. Even the Matrix, while designed to pack as much in as little space as possible with simple lines on the outside, made it an attractive addition to any setting. Our latest submission keeps the "get as much stuff in as little room as possible" concept, but the outside is a whole other concept rather than simple and elegant. This chassis will also make a striking addition to any surrounding, as did its predecessors."

Today we get to look at the X-Fighter mini tower from IN WIN. The classification of mini tower may throw you off a bit, but don’t let it; big things do come in small packages. The interior hosts a few nice features, which I will discuss soon. The exterior, as I mentioned before, takes a whole other approach. Bold lines, splashes of bright accent colors and the use of a bit of "stealth", IN WIN hides a lot of things from the first glance! Let’s get into the specifications and on to the images, so you can get a look for yourself at what IN WIN offers this time around.

Asus Rampage II GENE Review
OCC has published a review on the Asus Rampage II GENE

Even above the excellent quality and thoughtful inclusions however is the sheer fact that all of these features fit onto such a tiny board. Integrated X-Fi is extremely nice, and being able to run SLI or Crossfire on such a small board is a huge boon to gamers on the go. I am extremely impressed with the Asus Rampage II GENE and recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for a uATX board. I also recommend it to people just looking to get into overclocking, because with the temp monitors you can OC on auto, see what the board sets, and then work from there! Asus has out-done themselves with the Rampage II GENE, which holds to its Republic of Gamers branding to the roots.
