Ultra Products X3 1000 Watt Modular Power Supply Review
Bigbruin.com has posted a review on the Ultra Products X3 1000 Watt Modular Power Supply

Except for those running a massive system that includes a good deal of the latest hardware, 1000W is more power than you could possibly need. During the course of the review, the Ultra Products X3 1000 Watt modular power supply came close to powering two full systems, and there was still plenty of power left to toss much more hardware at it.

SteelSeries 4H Gaming Headphones Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the SteelSeries 4H Gaming Headphones

A couple weeks ago I took a look at the SteelSeries 3H Gaming headphones, well they've just sent me the 4H version for review which is essentially a more improved version of the 3H. In my review of the 3H headphones I found them to be a bit lacking in some areas but still overall a great set of headphones, the 4H version I have for review today picks up where the 3H headset left off. I found them to be an excellent all around set of headphones no matter what you are doing, be it FPS or RTS games, or even for listening to music and watching movies, the 4H headphones are a great all
around pair for whatever you need them for.

With the inclusion of all kinds of media extras on motherboards and graphics cards (high quality audio and HDMI output), it seems only natural for your computer to become a place for TV signals to be shown. Most of the time you'll have to use a PCI add-in card to get your favourite episodes on your screen, but today I have MSI's Digivox mini II which enables USB 2.0 usage.

OCZ PC2-9200 FlexXLC Edition 2GB Kit Review
PC Modding Malaysia posted OCZ PC2-9200 FlexXLC Edition 2GB Kit Review

Considering that the price for DDR2 is getting cheaper by the day, the FlexXLC PC2-9200 is quite expensive for a DDR2. However, this is not your average DDR2 as it is rated to run at 575MHz. The FlexXLC did not only overclock as advertised, but it also stunned us as it allowed us to overclock beyond 600MHz without touching its VDIMM or latency. With a maximum overclock at 651MHz, the FlexXLC breached the DDR2-1300 rating which was possible at 5-5-5 latencies. However, it required a little bit more voltage to achieve this but it was certainly good enough to put a big smile on our face.

Logitech G9 Laser Gaming Mouse Review
I4U NEWS reviews the Logitech G9 Laser Gaming Mouse.

The scroll wheel is changeable at the click of a button on the bottom of the mouse and moves from standard click mode to free-wheel mode for fast scrolling of long documents and web pages. When in click mode or free-wheel mode you can still map commands to the scroll wheel click. Logitech also equipped the G9 with interchangeable grips that change the feel of the mouse.

Corsair and Super Talent: Is DDR3 Ready for the Enthusiast?
PC Perspective posted a review on the DDR3 memory from Corsair and Super Talent

First, we know now that both Corsair's and Super Talent's high speed memory kits are able to outpace the latest DDR2 memory setups when they are run at the 1800 MHz+ speeds they are rated at. The deficit that is accepted by increasing the latencies on the modules to reach these speeds was less than we expected and allowed the memory to run at such high speeds. The latency results showed that even in the random access cases that the higher speeds with slower latencies is the highest performing setup for the time being.

A Look at the Tagan ITZ 700W Power Supply
APH Networks has published a new review on the Tagan ITZ 700W Power Supply

It's been quite a while since we last took a look at a power supply. Power supplies are interesting products -- because often, reviews of products in this category are conducted and tested in methods that make it difficult to distinguish one power supply from another. Many aspects have to be taken into consideration -- of which certain criteria consists of efficiency, noise, power ripple, and of course the ability to pull out the rated specifications. Because many cannot afford such equipment to obtain results regarding those aspects, articles covering power supplies often come out with less than adequate information. We cannot say that we haven't once fallen into a similar trap, although we still stand by our recommendations -- because the products we've recommend were tested with professional equipment which already clearly demonstrated to us that they are indeed excellent products! However, we will go for a different approach as we report on the Tagan ITZ 700W power supply today -- let's have a close examination on the hardware aspects of it, and let other review sites with professional equipment show you the results. After all, the internet is the place for researching your hardware components!

Mushkin XP2 PC2-8500 Ram Review
Hardwarecanucks posted a review of the Mushkin XP2 PC2-8500 2GB ram kit.

This kit is not all show and no go,it performs extremely well even with low voltages. There are some downfalls though; they did not respond to voltages higher than 2.3V when running CL5, and they lagged behind the slower OCZ Platinums in some of the Everest and Sisoft Sandra tests. On the other hand, the top frequency results were out of this world! Hitting DDR2-1121 with 2.3V is not something that happens every day.

Leadtek WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent Review
Ninjalane has posted their review of the completely silent videocard from Leadtek called the PX8400 GS TDH Silent.

Budget components are really what shape the things we see in the PC market today, without them there would be no research money to create higher end products nor would the mainstream pubic be as open to upgrading their systems.

Sigma Atlantis Case Review
OCC has published a new review of the Sigma Atlantis Case

The hard drive cage in this case is very interesting. There is a 120mm fan on one end, and if you remove the two thumb screws on either side, you then can pull a lever out and it unlocks cage, allowing it to be rotated. This feature could make the upgrade or addition of a hard drive easeier after the initial build has been completed. You wouldn't have to take the video card out of the case to be able to slide another drive into the cage this way.

Thermaltake MaxOrb CPU Cooler Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Thermaltake MaxOrb CPU Cooler

Thermaltake's Orb series has been very popular. We have checked out both the Ruby Orb, and Golden Orb. Each of them performed well and received good scores. The MaxOrb has a little different design, but still has the "Orb" motif. The MaxOrb features a 6 heatpipe design, 120mm fan, and a copper base. Although the base is made of copper the rest of the heatsink is aluminum. Hopefully its design will come in to play to help cooling because as we all know copper cools much better than aluminum.

CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 Review
Overclockers Online has posted a new review on the CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 case

If you looked around the net at various forums I think it goes without saying that CoolerMaster's Cosmos 1000 generated some buzz when it was first revealed earlier this year. I have to say they have hit right on a lot of marks with this case. While no case will ever appeal to everyone, I think the Cosmos 1000 has a broad appeal with its styling. The steel construction obviously increases weight, but this also helps to prevent vibrational noise in the chassis. Overall the quality is superb, but it is the little things that keep me talking about this case to friends. From push button 5.25" installation, cable management and side panels released by levers, the Cosmos was built with ease of use in mind. The sound dampening material on the side panels is a nice touch and the panels fit together very securely, leaving no room for noise or vibration.

Tagan CS-Monolith Case Review
OCIA.net takes a look at the Tagan CS-Monolith Case in their latest review.

Let me clarify by saying that this case is huge. I want to get that out of the way. One of my favorite designs for cases is the matte finish for that modern look. The front has a smooth finish mixed with the matte to break up the monotony. With plenty of holes drilled out, they made sure there was somewhere for everything to vent, even above the PSU.

Kingwin 600W Mach 1 PSU Review
PC Apex have a new review up of the Kingwin Mach1 600watt Modular Power Supply.

In true PC Apex fashion, I've voided the warranty to give you a good look at the internals. The heatsinks are not as large as others I've seen, but they are heavy duty. The soldered connections were done very solid with no visual defects noted. The fans are connected via removable connectors rather than soldered directly to the PCB which is nice for those who would like to use this power supply in a custom PC but change the fans for a different color scheme. Build quality was superb and all components were positioned well for optimum cooling.

Patriot Extreme Performance PC2-9600 Review
XtremeComputing posted a review on the Patriot Extreme Performance PC2-9600

I decided to give the results from the Patriot in both 1200mhz and 1000mhz at 4,4,4,10 on everest due to the scale of memory performance increase and although the read was less at 1000mhz we saw for the first time in Everest a copy exceed 8000 on the score.

ASUS Triton 75 CPU cooler Review
Elite Bastards take a look at a new CPU cooler from ASUS

At its heart, the Triton 75 makes use of four copper heat pipes to transfer heat away from the CPU, up to the numerous aluminium fins which make up the main body of the cooler so that this heat can then be dissipated. At either side of this cooler you can see a ridge, which is part of the installation mechanism for the optional 120mm fan which can be strapped to the top of the cooler to improve performance. All of that and it still manages to look pretty sleek and sexy to my eyes, while weighing in at a relatively lightweight 295 grams.

LapWorks has a wide range of laptop stands and cooling pads available in their lineup.
