Lian-Li V350 micro ATX chassis Review
Bit-Tech published a review of Lian-Li's V350 micro ATX chassis

The V350 is a tough case to adopt a final position on and it's not made any easier by the fact that there isn't any pricing info available until the case launches in the next month or so. The V350 is a good looker which is both inoffensive and stylish, something which is a bit of a rarity for fashion nowadays. At the same time though it's not easy to install a system in and could be described as a headache in a box. The performance isn't great either and the limitations imposed by the design cause further problems by restricting what hardware can be used.

However, at the same time those limitations aren't really a fault and the less-than-optimal performance is to be expected from a case which is designed to be small. Someone building a rig in a case like this isn't likely to stress their GPU with hardcore gaming or to push their CPU to combustion point. A case like this is much more likely to be used in an office for simpler tasks, with gaming and the like as an aside.

So, when scoring the V350 we have to keep that in mind and recognise that the person likely to be buying a V350 is going to be looking for small size and a good design over anything else. In this respect, the V350 performs quite well and has an excellent, high quality finish which is sure to impress anyone. It's not the best looking case, nor is it the best performer or the most easy to use -- but if you can cope with the hardware limitations and the fiddly innards then the V350 won't let you down. Just don't push it too hard.

GIGABYTE GA-G33M-S2H Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the GIGABYTE GA-G33M-S2H

Integrated. Among enthusiasts this has become a four letter word never to be uttered in their presence. It has come to mean lacking, underpowered and weak. But there is another side to integrated. Efficient, flexible, and simple. If you are looking to put together a home theatre PC (HTPC) then finding the right motherboard with integrated components is crucial. You don't need blazing fast graphics or the highest signal to noise ratio, that's what discrete cards are for. What you need is small, quiet and cool. That's exactly what GIGABYTE offers with their new G33 series motherboard. As if including audio and video weren't enough this board actually has an HDMI port on it. You want to talk about integrated, how about both your audio and video on one cable! Now that's what I call efficient.

XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB Fatal1ty edition review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB Fatal1ty edition

Shortly before the introduction of some new NVIDIA respin of graphics cards XFX decided to go out with a bang. I don't know how they did it but they are now offering a GeForce 8800 GTS armed with 320MB under the Fatl1ty label that is so darn fast you won't believe it, I guess that spoils the surprise what we'll be testing today eh ? today we'll have a look at that fatal line from XFX, with a product which will bring a couple of new features to the existing product line for sure. The Fata1ty Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB graphics card comes with it's GPU core pre-overclocked at 650 MHz and it's 320 MB memory clocked at (2x) 999 MHz. If that isn't rather radical .. the Shader domain inside that graphics processor is clocked at a lovely 1620 MHz. Now if that does mean jack to you .. these are the reference specs a 320 model normally has ... 500 MHz core, 2x 800 MHz memory and a shader domain clock of 1200 MHz, can you already sniff the performance increase ?

That's like bacon on your eggs man ... you know it's not healthy .. yet delicious.

CoolerMaster Gemin II CPU Cooler Review
Virtual-Hideout posted CoolerMaster Gemin II CPU Cooler Review

When this next item was offered up for review, I jumped on the opportunity right away. I seem to get weird, off-the-wall items to review *cough*Bat case*cough* and, well, this next item definitely falls into the weird category. The item in question is the Gemin II from CoolerMaster, or as I like to call it, "The Griddle". The Gemin II is a large, low sitting cooler designed to not only cool the CPU, but many of the other motherboard components around the CPU, like the capacitor and RAM. The Gemin II uses two 120mm fans (not included) to cool its large surface.

Wolf King Trooper Gaming Mouse Review
I4U NEWS reviews the Wolf King Trooper Gaming Mouse.

The 2,200dpi sensitivity is good and works well for general office work and gaming. Some gamers who are accustomed to the recent batch of higher sensitivity mice may find 2200 dpi to be lacking, but most gamers will find the sensitivity to be good. The drivers are nothing to be excited about and are simple and generic.

Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 Review
HotHardware.com featuring the Zalman Z-Machine GT1000 case, which Zalman labels a "High End Gaming Enclosure."

This case is made from aluminum, but it bucks the lightweight trend of typical aluminum cases due to it being constructed of metal that is 4-5mm thick. In addition to its high quality, thick aluminum construction, the GT1000 offers plenty of cooling and innovative tool-less installation options.

The GT1000 comes in two different colors: titanium and black. The case features two 92mm intake fans in the front and one 120mm rear exhaust fan. The titanium model features blue LED fans, and the black one sports red LED fans. We have the black model on our bench today, and a quick glance reveals that this case has a lot of potential. Head on over to the site and take a look...

During our previous tests we found out that the 65nm Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Energy Efficient processor was significantly outperformed by its regular counterparts with equal or even lower model numbers. To understand the microarchitectural reason of this, we decided to run a low-level comparison of a regular 90nm Athlon 64 X2 5200+ CPU (Windsor) and a 65nm Athlon 64 X2 4800+ EE CPU (Brisbane) in our RightMark Memory Analyzer suite.

Kingston 4GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive Review
EXTREME Overclocking has just posted a review on the Kingston 4GB DataTraveler USB 2.0 Flash Drive.

High speed USB flash drives are a huge market with prices constantly falling and capacities ever increasing. Mention the word "floppy" around the office and people look at you confused like you are stuck in the 90's. USB flash drives provide a rewritable, dependable, and portable medium for consumers to transport large files between PCs or other devices. Capacities of 2GB, 4GB, or even 8GB are not uncommon for these tiny little solid-state drives. With plug-and-play for any modern PC, Mac, or Linux OS, there are no extra drivers required, simply plug in the drive and it shows up as another disk ready to use.

Rosewill R6AS5 PC Case Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Rosewill R6AS5 PC Case

To those of us computer enthusiasts that are more on the snobbish side, Rosewill is a brand that is often overlooked. You know, in most aspects of my purchasing life, I buy the generic or the cheapest.but when buying computer hardware, I nearly always buy the "big name" or proven products. I have previously owned one Rosewill product, an IEEE 1394 PCI card, that I bought thinking I would need it to review a Firewire item. It wasn't the cheapest I could find, but it was the cheapest I could find with a brand name I had heard of. Rosewill makes a wide range of hardware items, and their goal is to build quality merchandise that will sell for a reasonable price. Today, I'll see if the R6AS5-BK lives up to that goal.

X-Arcade Tankstick Dual Joystick Controller Review
Futurelooks checks the uber arcade king of all joysticks

This thing is built like a friggin’ tank — hence its name — and it’ll be able to suffer the worst of beatings just like its sibling, the X-Arcade Trackball Mouse Controller. Yes, even when you play a hardcore button mashing game like Metal Slug or an intense fighting game like Mortal Kombat, the TankStick will not only hold its own… it’ll take the beating and it’ll like it.

NEC Multisync LCD205WXM Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the NEC Multisync LCD205WXM

A very average screen in every sense in terms of design and image quality, that's actually more expensive than then the NEC's 22in version and much so than the rest of competition. If you want to standardise on 20in screens in an office environment then it will do the job, but otherwise it's a disappointment for the price.

Any product that can do as much as the Helios X5000 can for less than £300 is bound to be a bit of a compromise, but here things that normally suffer in other products - build quality, sound quality and picture quality - are actually very impressive.
