ZEROtherm has an excellentproduct in the GX810. The thermally controlled fan performed as promised and is one of the best features of this cooler. Overall quality was excellent, installation was very easy and the low profile design and silent operation should give this product wide appeal.

Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Quad Core CPU Review
Gamepyre posted a review on the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Quad Core CPU

The user that can most benefit from the QX6700 is for people that are high-end gamers and for those that use multimedia applications. As HD-DVD and Blu-Ray movies move into the general PC market, the need for high power CPUs like the QX6700 will likely grow. H.264 content is very CPU dependent, bringing high-end single core CPUs to their knees. The QX6700 is expensive, but you get what you pay for. The target market for the QX6700 is for the high-end enthusiast willing to pay a grand for their CPU and for the OEMs needing a Christmas season refresh of their computers. In that respect, the QX6700 does what Intel wanted it to and is an excellent choice for those wanting the absolute best in multimedia performance. The 975XBX2 is the second iteration of Intel motherboard, designed to work with the Core2 CPUs.

eDimensional G-Pad Pro Gyroscopic Gamepad Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the eDimensional G-Pad Pro Gyroscopic Gamepad

The G-Pad Pro is a slick little controller with its VRMS features. The VRMS functioned well for me with the flight simulator and did OK in the racing game, but with the FPS games it was really lacking. Now, keep in mind this is with VRMS enabled. While using it as a regular controller, it functioned like any other gamepad....

MSI 975X Platinum V.2 Motherboard Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the MSI 975X Platinum V.2 Motherboard

The 975X has shown itself to be quite resilient despite some newer chipsets on the market. Intel themselves must be fans since they repackaged it again for quad core support. While stability is something that should be a standard, this has not always been the case with many motherboards released. The MSI 975X Platinum V.2 is a solid "reboot" and was very reliable and consistent in our testing. Little things like this is important as it makes for a more enjoyable computing experience and also leaves us with more hair as we're less prone to getting frustrated and yanking it out.

Ultrasone PROline 650 Headphones Review
TheTechLounge checked out the Ultrasone PROline 650 Headphones

The product we'll be discussing comes from a company named Ultrasone that many of us are probably not all that familiar with. There are a couple reasons why you may not have heard of Ultrasone before. First of all they're based in Germany, and since they were founded in 1991, they're also fairly new as well. Ultrasone's focus has primarily been on providing high-end headphones to professionals in the music industry, so most of their products are priced higher than what most the average person would be willing to pay for headphones. The PROline 650 headphones that we'll be looking at today aren't what I'd consider "cheap" at $300, but let's take a closer look and see if they're really worth it.

Crucial DDR2 PC2-5300 Ltd edition 2 gig kit Review
XtremeComputing put up a Crucial DDR2 PC2-5300 Ltd edition 2 gig kit review

We don't really like loosening the timings here at Xtreme due to the fact that there are higher speed looser timing modules that are within budget of the lower speed lower latency kits, so the only other thing we could do was go backwards. This resulted in some pretty interesting results as the ram was able to run at 667 at 2.3v with timings of 3, 4, 4, 8 which was pretty impressive I thought until it hung after 4 hours of stress test, I loosened the Cas out a bit to compensate so the memory was running at 4, 4, 4, 8 but this did not prove so fruitful as a few checks on a couple of benchmarks proved it to be quite a bit worse than the ram at 667 with 3, 3, 3, 12.

ntel's Core 2 Quad Extreme Edition QX6700
LostCircuits posted a review on Intel's Core 2 Quad Extreme Edition QX6700 processor

Today Intel is releasing its latest Extreme Edition CPU, model number QX6700, that signifies the first step into a new era of computing by bringing four processor cores in a single die to the affordable desktop computing market segment. Needless to say that the "affordable" part is to be taken with a certain grain of salt, a msrp of US$ 999.- is just above that - but maybe not. Intelligent Die Pairing, Smart Memory Access and Fast Memory Access, Cache Sharing and Selective Clock Gating are part of the new lingo that every geek better might absorb today rather than tomorrow. But geeks are geeks and mere mortals are interested more in what is behind the buzz words, namely how well the Kentsfield really performs.

From isolated power measurements to cache access and from Dr. DivX to Mainconcept, not to mention all kinds of 3D Rendering programs and games, we have a plethora of benchmarks to compare the new Intel flagship with mother's finest from both Intel and AMD

While it wasn't that long ago that external hard drive market was all square and silver, the industry has learned to evolve from its monochrome king-size past. With 2.5' hard disk drives making a leap from notebook computers to PDA's, it wasn't long before they were replacing the old guard.

Seasonic S12 Energy Plus Power Supply Review
MODTHEBOX.COM posted a review on the Seasonic S12 Energy Plus Power Supply

As we can see, the aluminum heatsink has fins that are staggered and bent in a T-shape. This allows maximum cooling for not only the heatsink but for all the components underneath as well. We can see the Adda 120mm cooling fan in charge of keeping this cool and quiet. When powered up on the bench the fan was quiet and still managed to move a decent amount of air.
