Mushkin HP2-8500 2GB Memory Kit Review
HardwareLogic posted a review on the Mushkin HP2-8500 2GB Memory Kit

Although DDR2 memory is far from dead (thanks in large part to DDR3's premium pricing, and generally cool reception), who would look at a PC2-8500 kit with 5-5-5-18 timings and come away impressed? Sometimes, the specs that accompany a product are not representative of the performance, and as you'll see, Mushkin's latest HP2-8500 kit is a perfect example of this.

Thermalright HR-03 Rev.A GPU Cooler Review
Hardwarecanucks posted a review of the Thermalright HR-03 Rev.A

It has been a bit of a journey but we have finally come to the end of the road. The HR-03 video card cooler has been on an equally long journey but doesn't appear to be anywhere near the end of its travels. The HR-03 has survived a full year, through a few variations, in a market place that doesn't provide the environment for a long life. That alone is impressive, the fact that it still does its job incredibly well on new video cards makes it quite exceptional.

A first look at the Enthusiast System Architecture (ESA)
bit-tech published a feature on Enthusiast System Architecture (ESA)

On the whole, I think Nvidia should be commended for drafting the Enthusiast System Architecture specification, as I believe the industry can benefit from an open standard for hardware monitoring and control, but I still have my concerns. While ESA sounds great in theory, the problem is that the only thing being certified is the protocol and that information is being sent to the host PC.

What it doesn't do is guarantee that the information being sent to the host PC is correct. For example, your power supply could be reporting incorrect voltages or load while your water cooler is reporting the wrong liquid temperature or flow rate. The current draft of the specification means that you wouldn't be able to determine whether the information you're actually being presented with is accurate.

PNY XLR8 8800 GT 512MB Video Card Review
I4U NEWS reviews the PNY XLR8 8800 GT 512MB Video Card.

In the end I was very pleased with the performance of the stock clocked PNY XLR8 8800 GT 512MB video card. This card carries a bargain price that most gamers can afford and provides performance that is better than many video cards costing more money. The stock PNY XLR8 8800 GT 512MB ran impressively close to the super expensive and high-end XFX 8800 Ultra XXX in 3DMark06.

Xigmatek Cooler Roundup
3D Game Man posted Xigmatek Cooler Roundup

Xigmtek's cooler series has a lot of potential. They have some great numbers straight out of the box with near silent fans. The Xigmatek XP-S964 has a great new design that is sure to get the curiosity out of some builders. I still have a hard time believing that skewing the shape of the block will help the heat transfer. Essentially you are taking cooling ability from one corner and pushing it off the opposite. I really believe that if this cooler had a standard square block, the numbers may have improved.

Ultra Stackable All-In-1 Card Reader & USB 2.0 Hub Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the Ultra Stackable All-In-1 Card Reader & USB 2.0 Hub

Of course you can use the card reader as it is, just a card reader and USB hub, there in itself is a great and very useful product. Most card readers sold, none actually that I know of, can boast of having an integrated 6-port USB hub and the ability to read pretty much every memory card out there today.

With the release of the iMON Ultra Bay, SoundGraph has really upped the ante when it comes to media functionality for the PC. I was very impressed with the software and remote, and the Ultra Bay will look right at home in most any black or silver case. The blue display is both attractive and functional, with a wide array of custom settings that users can tweak to their own tastes.

Chimei CMV 222H Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Chimei CMV 222H

Nicely designed and chock full of connectivity, the CMV 222H's many image quality failings are offset somewhat by its plethora of features, decent design and bargain basement price. This makes it a good fit for a PC and console gamer on a very tight budget, though for anything else it will disappoint.

Loewe Individual Compose 40 40in LCD TV Review
TrustedReviews have looked at the Loewe Individual Compose 40 40in LCD TV.

There's no doubt that the Individual Compose 40's price will just be too rich for many people's blood, especially as its pictures can only be characterised as good rather than excellent. But then the set isn't aimed at the ‘many' but rather at the well-heeled, brand-conscious few. And we reckon it should suit that market down to the ground.
