Microsoft Zune - Part 1/3
3D Game Man posted part 1 of their Microsoft Zune review

The newest competitor to come about is Microsoft. This November Microsoft dropped its previous attempt to take over the iTunes market (PlayForSure and MSN Music), and introduced the all new Microsoft Zune. This had been rumored for many months by bloggers around the web but until just a few short months ago, there had been no real proof. Once the player was officially announced, the term 'iPod Killer' was instantly tagged to the player. While Microsoft continues to deny, and rightly so, that they are trying to produce an 'iPod Killer', there is still the obvious jealousy. Microsoft is dedicating multiples of millions of dollars to creating what they are calling a more 'social experience.'

Evercool PT02-9232CP Bifurcated Fin Heatsink Review
PC Stats posted a review on the Evercool PT02-9232CP Bifurcated Fin Heatsink

The Intel 'Prescott FMB2' compliant Evercool PT02-9232CP heatsink is equipped with a 32x92x92mm 4-pin PWM fan that rotates at between 1300 and 4000RPM. When installed on a PWM fan compatible socket 775 motherboard, the fan will scale its speed from 4000RPM down to meet the immediate thermal needs of the processor without creating unnecessary noise. When the PT02-9232CP heatsink is connected to a standard three pin fan header however, the fan spins at its maximum speed of 4000 rpm by default.

Vigor Monsoon II TEC CPU Cooler Review
PC Apex Review has posted a review on the Vigor Monsoon II TEC CPU Cooler

The cooler itself is quite a beast, weighing in at almost 1 kg with the fan attached. The design is tried-and-true: heat pipes & a lot of stacked fins. The unique feature of the Monsoon II, of course, is the 50W TEC element integrated into the base. The TEC is sandwiched between the nickel-plated copper base plate and a hot plate. Both the base plate and hot plate contain 4 heat pipes (2 to each side) that carry the heat to the fins. The heat pipes attached to the base plate have the same function as in any normal heat sink, but the ones attached to the hot plate remove heat generated at the hot side of the TEC. This way, the TEC assists the passive operation of the base plate heat pipes. Even if the TEC fails, you still have a semi-functional passive heat sink.
