Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client 2.02

Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client 2.02 has been released

May 10, 2005 - Dekart (www.dekart.com) announces the new release of Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client, a popular software application for increasing the security and convenience of Citrix login procedures, thus boosting your productivity. Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client offers a fast and secure login to Citrix servers by storing user passwords and multiple connections on smart cards, USB tokens, USB drives or other removable media. Being successfully deployed in a large number of businesses, medical and educational institutions, the program easily protects access to Citrix servers to keep private and confidential information secure.

With the help of Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client you can store your Citrix Client access credentials on a removable device (such as a flash drive, CD, smart card, etc) and automate the access to your Citrix environment, by simply connecting the device. With this solution two main goals are achieved:

- Seamless pass-through login experiences for Citrix users, as they no longer have to remember complicated passwords or configure access for one or more Citrix sessions.
- Added security layer to the login procedure - as all of the user access credentials are securely stored on the removable device, they are not vulnerable to a broad range of external attacks.

What’s New in Dekart Logon for Citrix v. 2.02:

- One-step login from a USB drive without installation. Users can easily connect to the required Citrix server from any machine without the need to have Dekart Logon pre-installed there – as it is launched directly from the removable device. Besides the increased flexibility, this feature provides the users with greater security, as all of the user credentials are stored on the removable device.
- Compatibility with new Citrix ICA Client v. 9.0. The new version of Citrix ICA Client 9.0, released on Apr 26, 2005, is already supported by Dekart Logon. Citrix ICA Client 9.0 is the only Citrix application that runs under Windows 2003 Server, and it is fully compatible with new Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client.
- Spanish and German language interfaces – as a response to its increased popularity Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client is now available in three languages: English, Spanish and German.

The use of the token or smart card guarantees the highest possible security. The program is easy to install and manage. When the token or smart card is removed, the user is automatically disconnected from the Citrix server. One USB token or smart card may be used to store user credentials required to access different applications, eliminating the need for multiple devices. Dekart Logon for Citrix ICA Client helps ensure that only authorized users who are positively authenticated gain access.

Key features:

- Automated access: users enjoy one-step authenticated access to Citrix-based applications; once configured to start a specific connection on a hardware token insertion event, the connection becomes fully automatic and fast.
- No need to remember logins, passwords and servers: all logins and passwords are securely stored on the smart card, hardware token or USB flash drive, which can be easily connected to the computer.
- Mobility: The ability to store multiple connections, logins and passwords on the same device allows users to enjoy even greater mobility already offered by Citrix

System Requirements: Microsoft Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP
