Just today I bought a new HP photo scanner from CompUSA and I was amazed at the poor selection of scanners. I remember back 4 years ago, scanners were all-the-rage, but now they seem to be the equivalent of typewriters in some people's eyes. Back then you could get really nice consumer-geared scanners that could do larger than a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper! Does tech lose it's quality after time?
