CPU cooling seems to be all the rage lately and honestly, I can understand the trend. CPUs are running hotter than ever and people have a desire to squeak more performance out of their Thunderbirds and Durons, and for that, you need a good cooler.

I recently found myself in need of a new CPU cooler for my 1Ghz Tbird and I was in a bind so I headed out to see what my local Frys had on on the shelf. What I ended up with was a cooler that, as you can see from the pictures below, looks suspiciously like a Chrome Orb from Thermaltake, however, it does not have Thermaltake on it anyway so we will refer to it as "The Duron Monster", the name it is marketed under by AOC, Inc.
