Virtual Hideout posted a review on the ECS KN1 SLI Extreme Motherboard

There are things that are required to make a good motherboard, some are more than others. While some people want a motherboard to be the fastest and have the most features, I want 2 things above all else. For a motherboard to be the best, it has to do what it’s suppose to, and it has to do it when it’s suppose to. All the features and speed in the world mean nothing if it doesn’t mean a damn thing if it doesn’t work!

My past motherboards have included Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and a host of others that I’m glad I don’t remember. For some reason, I haven’t had good luck with motherboards. Between my GA-7N400’s “capacitor” (anyone who knows the board, knows what I’m talking about) or the 3 A8V Deluxe’s that don’t have the ability to install a 3rd party raid controller without loosing the ability to boot off one of the internal raid controllers, I’m about ready to switch to a Mac.
