Suddenly there is again a huge interest in the Pentium 4 market. The past few months have been focused on the AMD Athlon64 platform. The release of the Prescott P4 processor has shifted a great deal of attention back on Intel. There is also the Extreme Edition - Pentium 4 processor, which recently made its way into the product line. The Prescott processor is the newest generation of Intel Pentium 4 processors that will begin at 3.2GHz and work its way up to 5GHz. This means there are now currently three different types of Pentium 4 processors clocked at 3.2GHz.
