Keeping a modern computer system quiet while cool is quite a challenge. Of course keeping the CPU cool is the primary concern, for it is the hottest part of the computer. That is why there are countless options on quietly cooling a CPU; from low RPM heatsink fans to water-cooling. With all the attention on processor cooling, we sometimes neglect other parts of the computer that generate noise, such as case fans and the power supplies. To help combat noise caused by these components, FSP introduces the Cooling Kit. The FSP Cooling Kit consists of a 400W power supply and two 80mm thermally controlled variable speed case fans.
