Since the release of nVidia's GeForce4 last year, the product line has enjoyed a rather successful maturation process. With Intel’s AGP 3.0 standard gaining wide acceptance, the GPU is poised for yet another improvement in its design and performance. Today we are going to take look at two new cards from Gainward that brings AGP 3.0 compliance to the GeForce4. While AGP 3.0 increases the bandwidth by 100% versus AGP 2.0, we did have some reservations about what the effects would be on performance. Fortunately, Gainward was not looking for a simple 8X upgrade, instead adding new features to each card to help them stand out in their respective crowds.
