TweakTown has posted a review on the Gigabyte 60XE i815EP Motherboard.

The Gigabyte motherboard we are reviewing today is the Gigabyte 60XE which is based on the Intel 815EP chipset with support for PPGA and FC-PGA processors, ATA100, AGP4x, 6 PCI slots, 1 CNR slot. The Intel 815EP chipset is exactly the same as the Intel 815E chipset except the EP revision does not include onboard video. This is an advantage, mainly because the integrated Intel i752 graphics engine used on Intel 815E chipset isn´t very fast and shares SDRAM - It´s only good for low end budget systems, looking to avoid buying a separate graphics card. The motherboard has a cavalcade of features, including an onboard Creative CT5880 hardware sound chip which allows for 4 channel audio, this is much better than other motherboards which have lower quality onboard sound (eg AC´97) and SCR which allows for the motherboard to communicate with GSM SIM cards in mobile phones.
