Xtreme Resources takes a look at the latest "value" offering from G.Skill, the F1-4800DSU2-1GBFR DDR600 2T dual channel memory kit.
Today I have a new package from G.Skill for testing, the F1-4800DSU2-1GBFR, which consists of two 512MB modules and is rated for 2.5/8/4/4 2T timings at 300 MHz (600 MHz DDR). This package is one of the most aggressively priced packages on the market right now, rivaling even the price/performance ratio of basic value RAM modules. Since it also features Samsung TCCD chips like the more expensive packages from G.Skill, let us see how it will fare while overclocking.
