X-bit labs has posted a High-End IDE RAID Controllers Roundup.

We tested three IDE RAID controllers, which deserve being called High-End products. They are: 3ware Escalade 6400, Adaptec AAA-UDMA and Promise SuperTrak100. The remarkable thing about these devices is that unlike all other IDE RAID controllers, they support not only RAID 0, 1 and 0+1, but also more advanced RAID 3 and 5 modes.
