Just when we thought we had seen the last of AGP it comes right back in full force. It seems AGP isn't done fighting against PCI Express in the war for graphics dominance and it's putting up quite a fight. Today we look at the HIS X850XT IceQ II Turbo AGP, cousin to the X850XT Platinum Editor PCIe we reviewed last month. When looking at the specs of the X850XT it is important to note the difference between stock and turbo. The stock speeds of the core and memory are 520/1080MHz however using the iTurbo software cranks the speeds up to 540/1180MHz equivalent to the Platinum Edition speeds.
