While searching for case lighting options online I came across the Lazer LED's from CaseCooler. I was impressed by how small these units are and the amount of light output. I decided to try building one on my own. Perhaps I'm biased, but I feel the final result works well. The ultrabright LED's consume very little power and the diminutive size makes it easy to mount nearly anywhere in the case. When I read the How To: Lazer LED (Memorial Day Special) article from Lucas of SubZeroTech I noticed that we had both used similar parts, but each went about the process differently. I showed my creation to Lucas and he persuaded me to write this alternate tutorial.
