In fact, I think there were more programs on this laptop than I have ever seen before in my life. From media players to photo buckets and about 50 HP games, I can honestly say a sixth of my screen was covered with HP junk. I know some people love these free programs and enjoy the fact that HP gives you all these nifty items, but my first step was to remove them all. It took me a good 45 minutes to clean out the system, but my laptop now boots five seconds faster.
