ExtremeTech has posted a news story on HP/Microsoft's "Agora" initative



Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft are teaming up yet again on what could be the next evolutionary step of the business desktop PC.

Named after the ancient Greek marketplace, the new "Agora" initative can be described as a "real time communications device for business," said Rich Dodds, who manages HP's workstations within its Access Business Group.

... HP described "Agora" as the natural extension of the company's e-PC line, which has been optimized to minimize desktop space. The current incarnation of the e-PC, the Evo D500, uses Intel's fastest processors but has also been designed to let customers choose from between a desktop, ultraslim desktop, small form factor, and convertible minitower lineup.
