Nvidia’s GTX780 Ti has been a big seller in 2014, leading the high end performance market. We have reviewed many GTX780 Ti’s since the official Nvidia release last November, but due to reader demand today we look at one of the fastest overclocked models from Gigabyte. In our CPU Gaming Perforamnce articles we're investigating what difference the processor makes regarding gaming performance. Other than that we we're sharing some thoughts whether an upgrade makes sense in our opinion or not. Office for iPad + Apple Wireless Keyboard

Not a terrible set up for casual productivity

While many iPad users will use the device's virtual keyboard with the new Office for iPad apps, I feel that interface takes up too much space onscreen. Fortunately, you can use a Bluetooth keyboard instead. And since many Apple fans will have all Apple gear, I tested this with an Apple Wireless Keyboard.

Pivos Mana 5200mAh Battery Pack Review

Pivos has been known mostly for their media players so when a new set of battery packs showed up I was a bit surprised. The Company simply did not seem to be in that category but with so many tech companies extending their reach into so many other facets to ensure they can offer so many more solutions this move by Pivos should not really be a major surprise. One thing is that its obvious that Pivos took note of the rise in mobile gadgets and with that and the inclusion of now “Wearable” tech, the ability to charge on the go is quickly becoming majorly important.

PowerColor PCS+ AXR9 290X 4GB Video Card Review

The AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card was a powerful card when it came out in October 2013, but the reference design ran hot and it was clear that the enthusiast community wasn’t too keen on the thought of having a video card that was pegged at 94C in their system. It took the Add-In-Board partners a number of months to come out with custom designed and cooled AMD Radeon R9 290X cards, but pretty much every board maker now has a custom 290X board on the market with a GPU cooler that can tame the heat generated on these Hawaii-based graphics cards. Today we have the PowerColor PCS+ R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 that has been designed from the ground up to be an enthusiasts dream card...

Samsung SSD 840 EVO mSATA Solid State Drive Review

A few months back, we took a look at Samsung’s SSD 840 EVO series of solid state drives. At the time, we found their performance to be quite good, and the drives were competitively priced too. Shortly after the 2.5” versions of Samsung’s SSD 840 EVO drives hit the scene, the company prepared an array of mSATA drives featuring the same controller and NAND flash. The Samsung SSD 840 EVO mSATA series of drives would be essentially identical to their 2.5” counterparts, save for the mSATA drives’ much smaller form factor.

Sapphire Dual-X R9 280 OC

As we get farther away from the initial launch of AMD’s lineup they have continued to fill in the blanks with a few other cards. One of those is the R9 280 that sits in between the R9 280X and the R9 270X. Sapphire sent over one of their overclocked models for me to check out. I have been extremely impressed with Sapphires product line this generation but this will be the first of their Dual-X cards to come in the office so I will reserve my judgment until we see how well it performs in our test suite.
