Windows® 2000 operating system among ISPs and outlining the opportunities created by Microsoft .NET for the ISP industry will be the focus of Microsoft Corp.´s activities at the ISPCON Spring 2001 trade show. Microsoft will demonstrate how its products and .NET strategy will further enable ISPs to offer new, next-generation Internet services to best meet their customers´ needs. Microsoft .NET is a platform for building integrated Web services that will drive the next-generation Internet to make information available any time, any place, on any device.

"ISPs know more than anyone how viable the .NET strategy of seamless, integrated Web services really is and what it means to their business and customers," said Pieter Knook, vice president of the Network Service Providers Group at Microsoft. "At ISPCON, ISPs will be able to see firsthand how they can benefit today from Microsoft .NET and the technologies that support it. As ISPs look for the most reliable and visionary technologies upon which to base their own services, they are increasingly turning to Microsoft products and programs as a strong foundation."
