Hardware Mania has posted a review on the Iwill DVD266R motherboard
The samples of DVD266R had already been sent to test editors, however it has only been a few days that the product is in the market. Among this gap DVD266R had three revisions. IWILL DVD266R’s specialty is that it supports Socket-370 PIII CPU, DDR Ram and RAID simultaneously. Currently there are no boards that support dual PIII and DDR-RAM at the same time.
Till now, chipsets supporting dual processor was only produced by Intel or independent High-End Workstation / Server manufacturers. Moreover, OS and applications taking advantage of dual processor were scarce. But today, as Win2K’s and Linux’ are spread out the market, chip manufacturers like ServerWorks, VIA and AMD tend to give more importance. The reason is that today even most of the games can make use of dual processor and many people try to attend the projects like Seti@home or Intel Philanthropic P2P or tries to find huge prime numbers at home
