With the SSDNow V+ 64 GByte, Kingston presents the second generation of its value SSD series. The latest models are based on the Samsung S3C29RBB Controller which in idle draws only 0.15 Watts. Furthermore you shall get 220 MByte/s reading and 140 MByte/s writing performance which on paper sounds quite promising.
