The thought of a smaller monitor is something that is counter intuitive because, as display go, conventional thought would tell you that bigger is always better. A smaller display is also not something everyone would consider because Mini-ITX computers are getting quite powerful lately, so why pair a capable computer with a tiny monitor? These are decisions each user has to make on their own, but if you are looking for a small computer for your kitchen or living room, an 8" display might be perfect.
The Lilliput CL8889NT is an 8" touch screen TFT LCD monitor. It is very small, practically weightless, and can work at home or in your car, but is
capable of a resolution of 800x480 with a widescreen (15:9) aspect ratio. In addition to being small, having enough resolution to get the job done, and being widescreen, the unit has one more thing to show off- it uses a touch screen. So plug in that USB connector and it you can throw your mouse away!
