This red hot mouse utilizes the 2x optical technology which boosts the mouse with the capability of 800dpi precision scanning instead of the 400dpi precision scanning by other optical mouse. One way or another, you might say that 800dpi isn't much compared to the Razer mouses, which is available in either 1000dpi or 2000dpi! In my opinion, this mouse is well designed and the most important of all is it's cheap!. I got it for RM 89 (USD ± 23).
